Ross and his team carried out the damp proofing work at our property, very thorough from surveying and giving us a quote, to carrying out the works and completing.

Very impressed with how tidy they had my house, even with the amount of mess they had to make to get the job done. After each day they left the house spotless and clean.

The work itself was carried out to a high standard, and they kept us informed throughout the whole job of their findings and what they were doing.

Will definitely recommend these guys to anyone.

We had our conservatory converted into an extension by a previous builder. We then found we were getting damp and mould come through on the walls (picture attached). With no faith in the original builder, we had to look elsewhere to resolve the issue.
After a quick Google, City Damp Solutions was local and appeared at the top of the search results. After a phone call and email exchange, we had an investigation visit booked in January.
Ross came to visit and was thorough with inspecting the room. He was honest, gave us all the options and made extra suggestions to not only fix the damp issue but make the room more insulated, improving on what the original builder was supposed to do. He promptly provided a quote and gave us options to work within our budget. All confirmed, a date was set in the diary.
Ross and his team came over and did a tremendous job. He encountered some extra surprises in our extension and was able to give us solutions to work around them. It only took a few days, him and the team did such a great job and I felt very reassured and updated throughout the process. We immediately noticed a difference in the temperature of the room and the plastering was better than the original builder.
I can't thank Ross enough for fixing this damp problem we were left with, he has restored my faith in contractors and I highly recommend this company.

Excellent experience with City Damp Solutions. They sorted out the damp problem along an external wall of my house, replastered the sitting room, replaced rotten floorboards & joists & did external brick re-pointing work.
