I found Collier Stevens after a quick google search of party walls and feel that I could not recommend a team more, their website is full of helpful information and lots of case study examples. They were there to answer all my questions in regards to the Party Wall Act, for some repair works required on the dividing floor of my flat and the flat above within a converted victorian terrace. They helped guide me through the whole process, from the start, using their online template to first serve notice all the way to finish. Wayne and Steve went above and beyond to help me and their receptionist was quick to pass my initial enquiry on to the team with a matter of urgency. Thank you so much will 100% use again.

Having withdrawn from the first suburban property, I have indeed used Collier Stevens again, the third time, and once more been very pleased with all contact and service - recommended.

No one responded to my email for almost 8 months as the letter issued was not what I had asked for, hence I had to issue my own party agreement in the last hour. I had requested for loft and extension They issued only for extension. As I wanted to do both, it didn't serve the purpose and hence had asked to correct the mistake. No one responded , so had to issue one mentioning both " loft and extension" myself. The builders wouldn't commence the work without it, as I was doing both.

Totally disappointed for wasting my time. It seemed the staffs kept changing or were all over the place, with no one accepting accountability for the delay. To make things worse they issued an invoice after I followed up, almost a year later for issuing a letter that wasn't fit for porpose and not as I had requested.

They have wasted my time by not acknowledging their mistake , but instead sending the same email over an over again and me having to explain the same thing and even
providing screenshots of emails etc.

This is Unacceptable. I regret using them.

We used Collier Stevens for a survey on a Victorian conversion flat, as first time buyers we found Steven super helpful and easy to work with. He went above and beyond in advising us what works needed to take place on the property, and followed up the report with a call and a second visit to the property to check the works which was really appreciated. This company came recommended to us by a friend and we'd 100% use them again!

My son is buying his first property and wanted the assurance that it was structurally sound and good value for money. A friend recommended Collier Stevens, and we were not disappointed. The survey was conducted shortly after we requested it. The report was extremely comprehensive and covered every aspects of the property including many things we were unaware of when we viewed it. Especially useful was the estimated cost of the recommended works. Luckily these were minor but if they had been substantial it would have helped negotiations in respect of a price reduction or in an extreme case whether to buy the property or not.
I'm now buying a property and have already commissioned Collier Stevens to undertake a survey for me. When buying a property for hundreds of thousands of pounds the money spent on a structural survey has to be money well spent, and Collier Stevens ensure that is the case.

Collier Stevens have completed full surveys for my last 2 house purchases. I have found the surveyors pleasant and professional during the surveys and a comprehensive report was issued afterwards. It was easy to contact the surveyor if I had any questions or if I needed explanations for any issues raised on the survey. They always gave good advice of asked.
