We used Comber Brown to complete an entire downstairs renovation, including internal wall removal, new flooring and a new downstairs toilet. Honestly, we have never had a better experience than we did with Craig and Rich. Their work is second-to-none, all completed with the utmost care and respect for our property and we were consulted throughout. Our home was always left clean and it genuinely felt that they cared about us as customers and the project they were completing. It became a pleasure to have them round to do the work - they are by far the best trades people we have ever used. I think it is very telling that I’m trying to think about the next project that I can get Craig and Rich to do! I would not hesitate to recommend them and all our friends and family who have seen their work have been impressed.

Fantastic master bedroom remodel and ensuite. Comber Brown are head and shoulders above other builders or tradesmen I’ve ever hired. They come at the time they say, provide timely and accurate quotes. We enjoyed having them in the house when they were working. They check in with us regularly for decisions and came up with creative ideas. Their quality of work and attention to detail in the bathroom was spot on. Craig built us a beautiful in build bathroom storage cupboard and under the sink unit. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Going into a big renovation is always a daunting experience. The combination of the financial outlay, living through a home in disarray with small children and the fear that you may have chosen the wrong tradespeople is enough to send anyone into a tailspin. All those fears were put to rest when Craig and Rich came on site. The work we had done consisted of an entirely new kitchen (complete with moving plumbing and a re-poured floor to level a significant drop), knocking through to the garage to create and install a utility room, and re-pouring the lounge/dining room floor and laying laminate throughout the downstairs. No small task! As well as having to make right some less than perfect work performed by a previous contractor, Craig and Rich always kept us in the loop of what was going on and adopted a consultative approach as our plans came to life. They never presented us with problems, only options and solutions. What might have been an incredibly stressful period actually ended up fun, and we genuinely missed their cheerful presence and banter once they’d left. In addition to that, our dream kitchen and utility is absolutely stunning. We are hoping to renovate our bathrooms in the next year and there is no doubt who we will be asking to do the work; we just hope they can fit us in! Thanks Craig and Rich, you’re the best!

Exceptional building experience with the guys from ComberBrown. From start to finish - they couldn’t have been any more professional. They assisted with floor insulation, new floor boards, removing of existing stud walling and installation of new stud walls, doors and trim. Their finishing was to the highest standard, their initial quote was bang on (no ‘hidden’ costs), they kept the work area perfectly tidy and they finished in the expected amount of time. In addition to their workmanship, they are just a great company to deal with - trustworthy, honest and homegrown Surrey guys. Can’t recommend them highly enough. We’ve got the next phase of our works starting in January 2024 (full floor remodel, 3 bathroom fit-outs and brand new loft installation), and we will 100% be using ComberBrown again.
