When embarking on building our own home journey we knew we needed a professional and highly regarded main contractor. After 3 tenders, which were all similar, we settled on Compass Construction after meeting with Richard at a house they had previously built. Richard is very knowledgable and gave us lots of advice and reassurance during the tour. We are so happy we did. Compass Construction’s team were invaluable during the build process. Fantastic staff who are so knowledgable, polite and efficient. Answering any questions we had (and we had lots!) Nothing was ever a problem. Any issues were promptly solved. We have a beautiful home that is of great quality and we just feel so grateful that we went with our instinct when choosing a main contractor. My advice would be to not look too deeply at cost but more for quality and previously completed jobs. I can’t recommend Compass Construction enough, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you to Richard, Steve, Barnaby, Daryl and everyone else who’s been on site these past 3 years.

Rich and his team came up with a great design to create more space in the front garden for bikes and an emergency parking space. The finish was to a very high standard and the works came in on budget with no extra costs. Highly recommended.

We chose Compass out of four bidders to build our new contemporary home. The quotes were similar but we chose them because we could tell we would get on well with Steve and Richard, the owners. And it proved to be the case. We consider them as much friends now as contractors. Every problem that we thought was a crisis was never a problem to Compass. Or if it was they never showed it! Safe reliable hands, good quality work.

Compass Construction created our perfect home, on time and within budget - to our absolute delight, each and every one of Richards team including his subcontractors seemed to take a personal ownership and absolute pride in their work which has clearly manifested itself in the end result, what more could we have asked for?
