Brilliant from start to finish.

Baking heat, when they started, those lads grafted and grafted. Brilliant communication through out, they told us, when they were coming and what they were doing every single time. The end result we could not be more pleased with, it's just what we wanted and really fairly priced. It's the talk of the street the job they've done!

There’s lots of aspects to consider when you deal with the company that would take time to talk about but I will shorten it and tell you their consultation, work and after sale service are beyond exceptional, very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Given the size of my project (in printed concrete), I needed a lot of help at every stage in making decisions and the team was very up to date with the market and ready to give advice with every question asked. Any small things needed fixing, they would show up right away and make sure their product quality of the work delivered was perfection.

I will not hesitate to use them again. We are talking over 240m2 of ground and concrete work, they were beyond professional and brilliant staff.

Thank you to Tim, Claire, Tony, John, mark, Gary, Martin and the rest of the team!

Quality of work is at its best with this bunch of lads. Attention to detail and thorough, shows they have pride in the job.
Every stage was well explained from Claire from start to finish, who I had every confidence in. After having my large back patio and front driveway done. I am more than happy. Also lots of remarks of a great job done from various individuals.

We are extremely happy with our driveway, fantastic work. All the crew who worked on the drive were extreme polite and professional and cleaned up well each day. The attention to detail and quality of finish is brilliant. They respected our property and were very happy to answer all our questions. We have had so many complimentary comments from neighbours and passers by it has been amazing. Thanks to Claire for her initial help and to everyone who worked so hard on the drive, and always keeping to times. We would highly recommend to all.

BUYER BEWARE
As your request I have contacted you 4 times. Have spoken to Sarah/ Sophie, both gave assurances you would call back, no call from you. Sophie said she would call back, no call
To say we are unsatisfied with the job would be an understatement. The drive was installed in July 2019, the guys who did the work were fantastic. However, we should have known at the point that the concrete was poured we had been lied to when we agreed to use them. We specifically asked how the concrete was coloured, as I did not want to see pale grey in the expansion joint, which were visible on my neighbours drive. Claire explained that the powder was added to the concrete in the mixer before it was laid. The guys explained that the powder was put on after the concrete was laid and they would do their best ensure there was not much pale grey showing, which they did. The second lie was inrealtion to the grating. I did not like the silver or black grating, so Claire said it could be powder coated, at an additional expense. The guys when it came to they grating stated that they had stopped selling this some time ago due to the coating coming off. So drive complete and it looked fantastic.
Now 2 months later the problems begin, the drive had to be resealed twice, due to issues with the sealant. Then over winter pale grey marks started to appear, however due to covid they were not working but was assured that it would be corrected as soon as possible. The grating also suffered the fate I had been told, the coating came off. They replaced it with a silver grate which bent and twisted so much we had to remove so as not to damage the underneath of the cars. It was then replaced with a black plastic grate which has broke and does not stay in place. When I did ask Tim about the grate he said that Claire did not know what she was talking about.
When they were able to begin work we had appointments cancelled, arriving to late in the day to do the work, weather issues and arriving on days with no appointment, but not doing any work as the drive had not been cleaned. The drive up untill 2022 had been resealed 5 times.
2022 I contacted them again as the amount of pale grey areas had increased and becoming larger. I contacted then via phone, left messages but received no response. Unfortunately I had to seek legal advice and eventually had to threaten them with the small claims court to get a response, even then they still messed around, blaming Sophie for not doing her job. Eventually Tim the owner arrives, looks at the drive and asks me what do I want. I explained that I wanted all the pale grey areas to be fixed so it looked like the drive I had paid for. Tim said that he would try but as it was wear and tear he really couldn't do anything. I did question why the pale grey areas were in places that did not have regular foot traffic he could not explain this. I questioned if the products he was using were fit for purpose, to which Tim was becoming annoyed. Tim responded that he was not going to use any other products and basically I had to put up with it. I did explain to Tim, that had Claire given us correct information we would have been able to go away and decide what we would do, but as she was selling us what we wanted we signed.
2023 the drive is a disgrace we am going to repair the drive ourselves as by asking Tim to come and sort out the issue will not result in the drive that I paid for. If you want to waste thousands of pounds which we did either burn it on the nonexistent BBQ which Claire said we would receive, give it to charity or what we should have done was keep it and put up with the old crumbling drive which did not look as bad as it does now,
Tim does not have pride in his work and his 5 reasons for having a concrete drive completed by them don't exist, add value to your home, our drives are long lasting, they deliver high quality solutions, looks amazing, low maintance costs. We are now wondering if the drives that Claire took us to look at were completed by them or other companies.

We had a driveway done 2yrs ago by this company! its never been right! Wayne one of the partners came out to try and rectify issues with the seal/surface as it looks white like glue has dried on the surface! It looks ok when wet but awful when dry! We seemed to have hit a brick wall with no response to my wife's emails! We have Been told we haven't maintained it correctly! But how can you maintain a product which has never been right! I'm so upset and disappointed as we were reassured it would be a professional job and any issues would be sorted! Here we are 2 yrs later with a driveway finish not as promised and a company who has not corrected as promised our driveway! We feel very let down! So my advice is to not use this company as they have our money and we have been left with a very disappointing product😢

we chose Complete Driveways as we were promised that the concrete used had the colour in the concrete rather than being painted on meaning the driveway would have a long life span.
A couple of years later Feb 2025) the top layer has started to chip off and the stone coloured concrete is showing through.
We have tried several times to contact Complete Driveways by both phone and Email we have even tried contacting the original sales contact but unfortunately we can’t get at reply from anyone.
All we are requesting is the problem is rectified and we have the driveway we were promised and have paid for.

This is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They are only after your money and can't do enough until you have settled the bill then all you get is broken promises and silence.

John the salesman talked a good job and seemed OK but the finish product wasn't as he described.
The driveway cost over £6000 for a 70 M3 area so I would have expected better workmanship.

Benny was the foreman and I had to keep pointing out bad work when it came to installing the drains. The sections had gaps and the drain was at a right angle so the water just kept running into the wall rather that the drain. After mentioning this he said he could silicone the joints and put concrete to divert the water but I shouldn't have had to mention this.

About a month after laying and sealing the drive, there were white patches appearing which was down to moisture under the sealant. I sent pictures and tried to get a resolution but I am still waiting 2 years later for anyone to come and complete the remedial works. I have emailed, txted, phoned and just get fobbed off.

Sophie just stone walls as does Carla, the head of the remedial work. You can't get hold of the directors Tim and Wayne either. I have washed the drive, waited in and used holidays 3 times but nobody turns up, and there is no communication until I initiate it. More lies and emails.

The sealant has gone, colour is getting washed out and chips are appearing as shown in the attached pictures. There seem to be a lot of 5* reviews so I can only assume they are friends, paid for or they sent the Z team to do my job.

It just goes to show a fancy website riddled with lies about only using their own vans (two white transit vans turned up to do my job) doesn't mean anything. The pictures are taken even before the sealant has dried so as to look nice and shiny.

Avoid these clowns at all cost

Update!
A day after the review I got a phone call from Sophie apologising for the issues and promising to attempt a repair on Wednesday the 16th. After a no show on the previous Wednesday I had already ordered sealer and color from NIgel at SmartSeal to do it myself, but I can use these later. The guy turned up at 8 AM and was really nice. He explained what he could do with regards to the color loss and explained the process of resealing, but said there wasn't much to do regarding the chipped areas.

Once complete, I got another phone call asking if I was happy with the work. I mentioned the sealer had blistered in places and it was like walking on bubble wrap. This is apparently down to factors such as hot\warm weather and sealer that is too thick. The same guy returned on Thursday at 6:30 AM and applied another coat of thinner with a little bit of sealer. This reactivated the sealer and reduced the bubbles by about 95 %. There are still blisters where the sealer had pooled, mostly due to the cobble design. I would never have a cobble imprint again. It looks nice but is hard to maintain, traps dust and dirt and isn't easy to jet wash. Due to the depth of the imprint, there are also lines in the concrete from the edges of the mats which I wasn't aware of a design time.

I have added some photos post seal and the difference is night and day. I do like the boardwalk pattern in russet and the seal makes it stand out. I cleaned the step front with a drill brush and APC before resealing and it has gotten most of the bricks back to their original state.

The cobble area still has lots of chipped bits and there's nothing to be done about that unfortunately. The grey also suffers more from faded patches and areas of colour loss which do spoil the overall aesthetics.

I'll fix the issues with the drains myself. the lip of the grate is level with the cobbles instead of the lowest pattern point, if it is not a deluge of water, most of it just runs down the drive rather than into the channel.

I held off writing a review to give the company time to fix the issues. If I had known it was more effective than emails and photos, I'd have done it sooner and perhaps the chips might not have occured.
