Absolutely under no circumstances buy a house from this company. They look nice but don’t expect any more from them in the way of service.

After owning the home for 2 years and it only being a 4 year old home. We noticed a leak coming from behind the plasterboard wall in the corner of the kitchen cupboard.

After inspection from a plumber it was found that when the kitchen was fitted the fitter used a bit of wood batten to additionally fix the unit to the wall.

In doing this they actually put a screw through the mains cold water supply. Which then after finishing the kitchen was left, to leak and leak… for 4 years.

Finally coming to a head this week where we noticed water coming from under the unit. Assessing the situation the plumber found that all the plaster board was sodden and this leak had caused a lot of damage.

This is absolutely unacceptable from a builder who prides themselves on creating “high spec new homes”.

I was told “you probably fitted a new kitchen” or “that was done by addition work in the house”

Either way I cannot except that this classifies as not being in warranty as it was caused before warranty would have even started on the house.

The colleague I spoke to on the phone couldn’t even get the facts right about the age of the property 8 years old, 2018… none of which lined up with the original dates the house was built.

Ultimately If you want my advice, I would stick majorly clear of this company as it is a common pattern on the estate that there has been a group chat created that shares similar problems.

Bathrooms having to be refitted due to a res in pipes, and plasterboard walls having to be replaced due to leaks in bad pipe work are all but a common theme.

Avoid.

We agreed to purchase a beautiful home in Gloucestershire. The staff are hideous particularly Charmaine. Can’t even spell my fiancée’s name despite numerous emails with her details. We would have bought a £430k property but for this and no idea when we could actually live in our home. Demanded £42k after our initial £1k deposit and threatened to put the home back on the market when we had already jumped off the purchase. Hope others have a more positive experience. We’re out.

I found the site OK they are not the only company that asks for your details before you can get very far I personally find it annoying when all you want is a general idea of things like prices of the houses being built
