David and his team recently completed a ground floor extension and a complete interior renovation for us, and we are very pleased with the outcome.

Our build was expected to take 6 months, and we were back in the property 1 month ahead of schedule. His team are extremely fast and always on top of things.

It goes without saying that the work met a high standard, but what truly distinguishes David is his kindness and authenticity. Whenever we encountered issues during (and even after the rebuild), he was always there to lend a helping hand, surpassing typical builder-client interactions.

Throughout the renovation, his team even went the extra mile by looking after the fish in our garden pond.

I would wholeheartedly recommend David and his team for any construction or renovation project.

Used DJC Contractors for major extension and refurb - Excellent Company. I dealt with Dave throughout, he owns the company and took personal care of the project from day one. His team were spot on. They turned up every day, they dealt with all the changing requirements that everyone has when you are undergoing a project this size and were always friendly, helpful and attentive. We completed a rear and loft extension as well as a complete internal refurbishment. The quality of the build is very good and the finish is spot on. All the usual snagging that comes about on work like this has been taken care of. Dave or a member of his team have been to the property on a few occasions to deal with any small issues that tend to pop up. I do not usually like to recommend tradesmen to other friends or family but I made an exception with DJC and a friend has since used them on a project and he too is delighted. I have since recommended 3 others 🙂
We refurbished 3 bathrooms and toilets as well as building a new shower room. The tiling was great, the plumbing was excellent and the overall look and finish of the bathrooms/toilets we are delighted with.
Our extension has been finished off to a real high standard. The painting and decorating chap is spot on too. All our glazing was changed and new bi-folds put in, and despite some issues, Dave ensured they were all eventually ironed out. A new roof was added which looks lovely. He has a lead chap Christian, who doesn't smile too much, but he is a great guy, hard working and gets the job done. Artur, is the plumbing, tiling, and carpentry expert and his work was fantastic and he smiles a great deal more than Christian. Angelo, his electrician, is also fantastic at his job. These guys are a great all round team and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Great work Dave and Co. I will see you for that BBQ I promised you!

We had a back and single storey side extension built from March 2020. The reason I chose DJC was David's attention to detail and prompt responses, unlike most other builders. He spotted one of the steel beams was inadequate for the side of the house and he suggested what the engineer should be putting in as a minimum on the beams plan. The work started two weeks before the first lockdown and by then they had already progressed well with the excavation and we feared if they could not continue, but luckily despite the material supply problems, David and his team carried on. He has a great team of workers and they are all friendly, hard working and helpful. They always turned up on time. David suggested we go with a sloped ceiling in the back and side as we have a pitched roof and it is so popular with whoever visits, we had assumed it would be a flat ceiling like most properties. David have us ideas on layout of various things as the work progressed. The plastering and finishing is great. Also the plumber who did the underfloor heating system is amazing. During lockdown they were the only people who we got to see or speak to and if it weren't for them being here, it would have been very unusual. We love our new layout and enjoying the extension to the fullest. We have shown quite a few people round and recommended other people who have also gone with DJC. I would highly recommend DJC Contractors.
