We engaged with Damian Lee Building following a recommendation.

The spec. was to demolish an existing conservatory and replace it with an extension. This also included installation of a new kitchen. From our first meetings with Damian and Harrison right through to completion of our extension we were delighted with both the service and the end product.

All of the team were great, the site was left tidy every day and we really appreciated the fact that they tried to ensure that we experienced as little disruption as possible throughout the build.

Communication was excellent throughout the project and we were kept informed of any updates at all times. We now live predominantly in our new space and absolutely love it.

Thank you to all the team, and they really are a great team Everyone played their part and we couldn’t be happier. We would not hesitate to recommend Damian Lee Building.

From the initial contact with Damian and throughout the build with Harrison, the team were exceptional, polite, and supportive with key decisions in one of the most challenging projects of our lives.

From trying to get the house water tight before Christmas in an extremely cold December, to their can do attitude when facing complex issues whilst working to our tight deadlines.

We are now six months from when our building work was finished. Delighted with the result
It involved removing a conservatory, building an extension and a whole new kitchen with bifold doors which is a dream to work and live in.
Harrison , project manager kept us fully informed at all times and the whole team involved were polite , positive and extremely pleasant. As far as any problems that arose , and they did I will quote Ryan the joiner. ‘There are no problems just solutions “. Totally recommend this company.

I had a conservatory replaced with a single-story extension by Damian Lee Building. Overall very happy with the final result. The tradesmen were friendly, professional and produced quality work (one exception). Unfortunately the piling subcontractor who DLB used, piled through a sewer pipe in two locations under the extension. This subcontractor (MS bamber & son ltd) excavated to the pipe a few weeks later and then disappeared for 2 months leaving me with an open sewer. During this time communication and support from DLB could have been better. I had to attend multiple meetings with United Utilities alone, coordinate and share information between parties, and keep neighbours informed about disruptions. At times it felt like my patience was taken for granted and there was lack of appreciation for my situation. DLB did later attend meeting with UU and provided me with some additional plastering and cladding works free of charge as a good will gesture to recognise the disruption. If your project requires mini piling I recommend avoiding MS Bambers and Son Ltd and sourcing your own piling contractor who will do due diligence. Aside from this issue the rest of the build was well managed and communication was great.

After a previous renovation/extension on our ground floor with another builder, we contracted Damian Lee to bring the upstairs to the same standard. This was a project that included a first floor extension, remodeling the internal layout to create a larger master ensuite, and a new guest ensuite, back to brick renovation on what was left, new windows including stonework sills, mullions, and quoins (is that terminology right Harrison?), and replacement of the mock tudor timber boarding and render outside.

We were really happy with the work that was carried out, brilliant communication throughout and a vastly different experience to our first renovation project.

As we neared the end of the project, we contracted Damian Lee to carry out further work with a staircase and hallway renovation, which included pullout under stair storage, a new front door, and new windows in the front room downstairs to match the upstairs.

The lads were always helpful and keen to help us understand what they were doing and when things weren't going to plan spent their time explaining why (it's a 1940's property, they nicknamed it 'pandora's box', as every time they took a layer off a new surprise would welcome them!).

Overall we were really happy with the service, the end product, the process, and couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Particularly impressed with Harrison who controlled the project from start to finish, kept us well informed and any unseen additions were fully explained and priced, so we were well in control of our finances with no surprises.
