Good loco's and rolling stock. It's a small company so not a lot of other stuff for the railway modeller. Shop staff give the impression they would rather be anywhere else but there.

Good little shop.Bought a terrier very cheap advertised with parts missing which came with the loco and was a easy repair.They even showed me the loco running in the work ship area.Also bought three wagone.None of what i bought i even went in for😆.Deffo worth going again.

Parents travelled up from the Wirral as my father is building and the staff who served them was rude impolite … no help very short sharp communication … wasn’t impressed … not a place to go to

Great shop. Only problem is the opening times 10-4 Monday to Thursday. I think they are only trying to encourage the retired folk, and not the next generation.

A company that as no idea when its models are being released. I find that hard to believe seen as that's your business in getting models to the customer

Many of my Dapol n gauge models have blown lights. (HST/56/27/121/122/26/156) (I only run DC). Most of there models are superb but I only buy dummy locos or locos in sales as I know the lights will blow.
And superbly modelled coaches too although sadly due to costs to make the various variety of coaches, we (inparticular N gauge modellers) have to make do with compromises. Understandably due to cost of making the supple differences, but if you want to model a HST from the 80s it'll have the door lock light molding on the mk3s.

Dapol certainly have upped there game in Ngauge since the start. I just wish the electrics weren't so prone to blowing and they had some idea of when models were actually being released.
