David Machell was the architect for our kitchen extension - we already had long-standing foundations in place from a previous owner but Dave came round and talked us through the process to get agreement from the council to build on it. He listened to our requirements and put together an architectural plan that met them aswell as suggesting an alternative. Any changes we requested were quickly amended on the plans and David speedily involved a civil engineer for that side of things. David had a close working relationship with the builder which made that part of the process work well too. David was always very professional, precise and communicative throughout the whole process and we would recommend him to others with architectural requirements.

We cold called David just over 12 months ago with a vague idea about some residential improvements. Shortly after he came for a site visit and was quickly able to give us advice about what was possible, timescales and cost.

On appointing he guided us through the unknown territory of design, planning and appointing contractors. Then when we broke ground he was still hands on with us when changes arose and decisions needed understanding.
