We have worked with Davies architectural services over the period of 7-8 years. We also use many other architects as we are building contractor however we recommend this company to friends, family and other clients we are working on behalf for. They're knowledge on navigating through the planing system and detailed drawings speak for themselves. Builds never always go as smoothly as first thought however knowing we can get advice and solutions for any problems we encounter from Davies architecture is invaluable.

Really disappointed with the service provided by Joshua. We should have known from the start when he refused to come out to discuss the plans once we’d seen them for the first time. Apparently it’s not part of the service and can only be discussed over the phone / zoom.

Day 1 our builder started and couldn’t actually build according to the plans as it would have meant the extension would have crossed into our neighbours garden! We tried emailing , phoning and texting Joshua who eventually came back the next day. We asked for paper copies of the amended drawings which never arrived and were told we could go to the local shop and get a copy if we wanted! The plans eventually turned up 2 weeks later having been sent to the wrong address.

Throughout the build we encountered problems which we needed to speak to Josh about who was very difficult to get hold of. He designed a dog shower in our utility which was against electrical regulations but luckily we had a very good builder who could problem solve for us and put right the mistakes made by Joshua.

I get the impression that because we were only what should have been a relatively simple extension once he’d got our money and drawn the plans he had no further interest in the project.

Joseph has been fantastic all the way through, from telling him my ideas to putting it into drawings, the application for the retrospective planning application through to signing off with building control. The passion he delivers has not gone un noticed. He has consistently listened to what we wanted and has put on paper more than what we could have invisioned. Couldn't thank you enough.
