Design Intent completed a double-story extension and garden landscaping project for us in 2021, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The finishes are of the highest standard, and Matt, Alex, and the team continually enhanced our design ideas throughout the process. Our beautiful family room, sleek office, and serene bedroom have transformed how we use our home, with the walk-in wardrobe and tranquil en-suite being particular highlights.

Despite challenges such as the Covid pandemic and a delay with scaffolding, Matt and his team worked tirelessly to ensure the project was completed before Christmas. Their commitment and dedication were truly impressive.

When the project was finished, we genuinely felt sad to see the team go. Every member was friendly, hardworking, and completely trustworthy. We’ve already recommended Matt and the team to several friends and will happily continue to do so!

We were very happy that Mat agreed to install our second-floor kitchen for us, despite it being a smaller job than he usually takes on. He was very helpful, completing everything in two days to a really high standard. We've seen some of his other building work and, if we ever look to get an extension to our house, he's the first person we'd be asking to advise us and take on the project.

We were very happy with Design Intent's services, and invited them back to do further work - they did a two-storey extension for us in 2018 and built a garden office in 2021. Matthew's work is of very good quality and he has a great eye for ways to make the space/light work well.

During our extension there were some changes to the timescale and budget but Matthew communicated these clearly and we agreed any changes in budget prior to them going ahead.

We highly recommend Design Intent and have been very happy with the spaces Matthew has created for us.

I’m delighted to say that I found Design Intent, led by Mat, to be a truly competent building firm. His team are excellent and I particularly appreciated Mat’s eye for detail and his helpful and thoughtful interventions on certain aspects of the extension work they were doing for me; it made all the difference.
