We appointed Design Shed to work on a conversion to our church (listed building) toilet block to install a disabled toilet. Gavin Neal, our architect was was extremely helpful and talented, and he gave us some sound advice right at the outset that will have saved us a lot of time and money. His expertise and imaginative suggestions transformed our original concept into a more spacious and useable area. As well as this he was an invaluable help with guidance on the paperwork. He has given us general help and support with the other technicalities: planning permission, structural engineers, building inspectors etc, and we may well now turn to him for his assistance with the documentation. We could not recommend Design Shed more highly in general, and Gavin Neal in particular.

We commissioned Gavin from Design Shed Architecture after contacting a few practices because of his personal approach and rapport he created. He helped us with two projects, a small rear utility extension and a garden room with sauna & outdoor kitchen. He came up with the initial designs and tweaked what we needed with ease. Genuinely friendly and professional service who we felt valued our custom as a pose to the other companies who gave the impression that our projects weren't large enough for them to consider. Would recommend this firm.
