Eugene is a fabulously talented professional. Immediately on initial consultation it was clear that he has a great imagination of what could be created in the garden space. He clearly explains the process from design, costing, work schedule right through to management of the project and completion. I felt complete piece of mind with the process from start to finish and couldn't recommend Dewlands highly enough.
Eugene has great expertise and knowledge and his team who constructed our garden were friendly, tidy and worked very hard. During the initial consultation Eugene spends a lot of time getting an understanding of what we wanted before creating a very detailed design plan. This captured what we wanted really well and we were able to adjust it here and there if needed. Likewise during the management of the project Eugene visits regularly and ensures the work is progressing as expected. All costings are well laid out and updated and managed really well via an online platform. Everything is transparent and payments were made as the project went through certain stages of completion.
We would thoroughly recommend Eugene and Dewlands Garden Design who did a fantastic job.

They pitched against 2 other garden designers and were the obvious choice both from a quality, value & communications perspective. Throughout our project the professionalism, honesty and care aloud me to have complete confidence in the Dewlands. If ever there was an issue, it would be dealt with transparently, and thoroughly. Corners were never cut and quality underlined all aspects of the project from materials used to craftsmanship.

We would highly recommend Eugene Hill in both Garden and building design. We first asked Eugene to plan our garden that had no structure at all and needed someone with vision to create a space that our friends, family and ourselves could enjoy for years to come. Eugene was very thorough in planning and budgeting our selected design. We had a powerpoint showing all design idea's for each area and a spreadsheet listing options for budgets in each area as well as detailed drawings of each area. We believe that Eugene's plans when completed, will add beauty and value to our home.

Eugene was always happy to help with suggestions on our house and barn refurbishment plans, so when we hit a hurdle in planning that our previous architect felt was too hard to solve we went straight to Eugene to ask his advice. We then asked Eugene to help us us get our plans though the planning which he did with his usual boundless enthusiasm and thoroughness.
He once again produced very detailed drawings for the planning and a great spreadsheet showing detailed costing for each stage of the work required.

Eugene Hill and the team at Dewlands Garden Design are an absolute DREAM to work with and to have working on and in your property.

We had a 4 month building project completed by them (and a garden redesign in the past) and every time he and his team have exceeded my expectations. The are professional to deal with, efficient with running the projects and using materials, clean and tidy, clearing up continually, creative in finding solutions to our ideas and any challenges and problems and so amiable and pleasant to discuss concerns with ....such a refreshing difference from my experiences in an industry which often leaves much to be desired!!

They have met and exceeded my expectations, again, in making the best use of what we had to convert and the options available in how to deliver this and within our budget. As an aside, having had SO many bad experiences with builders and landscapers and tradespeople Dewlands Garden Design and his team arrived when they said they would, started and finished as planned, communicated continually with what was happening, when and kept me abreast of any unusual (or noisy) occurrences. They met the budget and exceeded our expectations. I would have absolutely no concerns in recommending Dewlands Garden Design, Eugene Hill and his able team.
