We used DKG for our extension project in 2021 and we were glad that we chose them. We had a rear extension, opening up the previous kitchen and living room along with a new utility room and changing the location of the downstairs bathroom. DKG also fitted the new kitchen. We then added the garden landscaping onto the job - porcelain paving, steps, sleepers, and artificial grass as it made sense to get it all done at the same time.
It wasnt the easiest of times for building work with Covid causing supply issues, price rises and delays on kitchens & windows. Dean was great, his communication was excellent - always discussing and planning each stage of the build with us so that we could make decisions along the way, never rushing or doing a botch job anywhere, no 'it's not my job' mentality - he genuinely cared about doing the best job for us. Dean and his team, Dave & Josh along with Rob helping out along the way, were brilliant. Great lads to have around, always having a laugh whilst working hard. We have since recommended them to friends who have also been delighted with their work. Thanks guys!

Would highly recommend DKG construction. Dean and his team,Dave and Josh, have recently completed an excellent job on our garage conversion and kitchen knock through. All of the team were very professional and hardworking. Easy to communicate with and resolved any problems that arose during the construction. They arrived punctually each morning, worked long days and always left the site tidy . We are delighted with our new kitchen, utility room and shower room.

Dean and his team did a great job for us reflooring LVT over cracked kitchen tiles.
From the initial meeting, to booking dates and completing the job Dean and his guys were polite, on time, reliable and completed the job to a really high standard.
With the inevitably minor snag Dean came round the following day and finished it himself.

We would 100% recommend Dean and his team Dave and Josh and all the other DKG colleagues including Milan and Rob who have done a fantastic job transforming our utility room. Their attention to detail is impeccable , and nothing was too much trouble. The communication and time keeping was excellent and they were all so friendly and trust worthy leaving them at the house whilst we were at work and also extremely tidy. I recently had DKG Construction & Design undertake the task of removing and replacing all the old joists in my house. I intially struggled to get quotes as it's not a job buildes particaly want to do and I feel really lucky that I found these guys.

The result is my previously bouncy and sagging floors are now straight and solid, no more furiture leaning into the room or cringing everytime the dog jumps down.

Dean and his team were incredibly efficient; they didn't waste a single second and clearly have a strong work ethic. As a single woman, I found them a pleasure to work with and appreciated their respectful and professional manner, answering all my questions without any condescension.

Despite the messy nature of the job, the team maintained a positive attitude, even when covered head-to-toe in lath and plaster dust!

My old house presented some challenges, but they handled everything with ease and im sure less able builders would have go over the planned schedule. Furthermore, Dean's recommendations for other trades were excellent – everyone he suggested was hardworking and knowledgeable.

I am really pleased with the work and would highly recommend DKG to anyone.

DKG did a great job despite finding many problems once the floorboards were removed they worked very hard & quickly and still managed to finish job within the 2 day period they had allowed. They had a very positive approach and were a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be using them again
