?have had two frustrating incidents with Domes Construction regarding their property at 56 Berry Street, Salford. This is a large company, but unfortunately, it seems to lack proper structure and accountability.

In 19.10 .2022storey Bin store fire Next to my car park, damaging my £41k Mercedescar and others in the vicinity. It took months to get any clarity about the insurance process. I was given over 15 different phone numbers and conflicting advice from various representatives. Ultimately, I was told to claim the damages through my own insurance. Now, my insurer is facing difficulties recovering the loss from Domes Construction, leaving me unfairly burdened with the expenses.

Yesterday, another issue occurred. A worker from Domes Construction was moving a car in the garage near mine and caused damage to my vehicle. Since then, I have received no help or adequate support from the company. The office staff have been unresponsive and ineffective in addressing the situation.

Despite reporting these incidents to the police and involving my solicitor, I have seen no resolution. I cannot recommend working with Domes Construction. They are a large company, but their lack of structure and accountability is unacceptable. If you are considering any dealings with them, think twice—my experience has been nothing but stressful and disappointing.

The worst experience I’ve had with a construction company. Do not buy or rent any developments done by this company. I moved into my new home in September this year and have been dealing with so many problems like leakage, intercom issue, underfloor heating not working, malfunctioning toilet, you name it. And astonishingly, none of the problems have been fixed! None! One of the most recent problem was one of the rooms had leaking problem from the balcony. They basically took off the wooden panel that connects the room and the balcony and just left it there…. Unbelievable. Now it’s been a month since that and my room still looks like a construction site. And like other comments say, at this stage they would just avoid your calls and messages….. I’m both mad and confused because I don’t know what I should do or when my problems are gonna get fixed.

Think twice before buying houses that build by this company. Building quality is questionable, leaking from multiple spots, unknown punch holes inside kitchen units. It took us almost a year to get most of the issues sorted out. (or walkaround solution)

The bathroom is currently having minor leaking issue with it's flushing system which can't be seen but can be heard clearly everytime the toilet flush, while the aftercare could make their own conclusion by saying "it's likely" something else and try their best not to dispatch the team to help out.

I guess it is what it is and still, I would like to shout out to every single gentlemen who came to our house for repair as they were all friendly and professional.

As this won't change the fact that it is becoming so difficult to get through their aftercare team and all the inconvinences that was made. So for these reasons 1 star is given.

Their construction works have led to widespread leaking and damp in multiple flats across the building I live in. They're months behind on the building remediation project. I hear their staff members constantly complaining about their colleagues incompetence at the top of their voices. And their builders are completely unprofessional, screaming for no reason and shouting swear words at each at the top of their voice in the early hours of the morning. Despite numerous complaints and promises to improve, they continue to behave like errant teenagers.

I am beyond disappointed with the build quality of our new home by Domis Construction. It has only been a short while since we moved in, but the list of problems is endless. It appears that the company is even trying to distance itself from its poor reputation by rebranding as "Matic."

The most concerning issue we've faced is the presence of mold in our brand-new home. It's incredibly frustrating and poses a potential health hazard to my family. The floors are also extremely squeaky, which not only shows a lack of attention to detail, but also makes living here very annoying.

When we tried to address these issues with the company, we were met with rudeness and dismissiveness from one particular director. Their emails were unhelpful and unprofessional, leaving us feeling hopeless about getting any resolution.

I urge anyone who is living in a property built by Domis Construction or Salboy to come together and compare notes. We can't let this company continue to provide substandard homes and treat their customers with such disrespect.

If you're considering purchasing a home from Domis Construction or Matic, I strongly advise against it. Our experience has been nothing but a nightmare, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same ordeal. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a homebuilder that values quality and customer satisfaction.

We are still awaiting any response or resolution 2 months later, meaning this issue has now been ongoing for 23 months. There has been no response from any @domis email address since August 2023.

We have been attempting to contact Domis through their complaints, info, and aftercare email channels in our efforts to resolve an ongoing issue dating back to March 2022. Unfortunately, the matter remains unresolved, and all attempts at communication with Domis have been met with silence since August 30th. Despite multiple requests, we have not received their formal complaints procedure, leaving us with no clear, professional avenue to address our concerns. It appears that, when faced with an issue, there is no established process for resolution, and one must rely on the hope that someone will eventually respond to their emails. Contrary to Domis's website claim of having a 'best-in-class Aftercare Team dedicated to resolving any queries promptly and cordially,' our experience has been quite different.

Complaint 1: July 2022. [RESOLVED] Bathroom panels used wood which were not waterproof and this has resulted in chipping/peeling. Issue was recitified twice (1) repainted again and then (2) remove with PVC. Very happy about this.

Complain 2: October 2022 [PENDING] Dishwasher was not installed properly, resulted leaking for over a year and a half. Asked them to fix this. Moldy bathroom floor and wall. Communal area is also moldy to the next door. PICTURES ATTACHED. Still living in this conditions for months. Please be responsible?

DO NOT BUY FROM ANY DEVELOPER WHO USES THESE AS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY!!
We’ve never lived there these what fixtures look like (gold was upgrade at cost to us) poor quality really stainless steel wouldn’t do this that’s plumbers opinion on it.
We’ve highlighted issue with no response numerous times to there customer care email,it’s not satisfactory for what we’ve paid.I won’t state what was paid it’s a lot of money one of dearest penthouses in Sheffield these are not luxury fixtures what we paid what we got is not Luxury or what we expected (no lights in wardrobes lack of plug sockets materials used lack quality.No key for one of my main doors in master bathrooms no TV or sockets for toothbrush or shaver in none of the bathrooms ,it’s luxury build I expect this, to me I consider that to be standard feature.
I just wouldn’t buy from these I’ve many more issues.
Agent didn’t communicate during the build if so maybe all these things could have been highlighted during stages of the build (it’s not bespoke as we was told) Only thing we had input in was the kitchen & fixtures.
