Matt and his team have just finished our 1st floor extension and garage conversion, and what can I say other than that they were simply brilliant! We are so thrilled with how the whole build went.

Matt runs his team so effectively and everyone who worked on our build was fantastic. The quality of the work is top notch, the guys were so friendly to my wife and I, and the site was always clean and tidy at the end of the day (I've never seen a building site look so clean).

Matt was always on hand to answer questions, either in person or on the phone. No problem was too big or too small, and any issue, no matter how minor, was dealt with quickly and effectively. Matt would also provide regular updates with what was happening in the coming week and expected dates of completion etc, a really nice touch.

Many of our neighbours have also commented on how brilliant the team have been. Some have already been in touch with us asking for their contact details, which says it all really.

Overall, I couldn't recommend them highly enough. If you're after a building company that are great value, friendly, quick to respond, informative, extremely tidy, hard working and incredibly good quality, look no further!

Being disabled and a permanent wheelchair user, I needed a building company to go the extra mile for me. Matt and his team were brilliant. I couldn’t have given my requirements to a better person. Not only did Matt work on & arrange a fantastic job, both he and his team (all skilled perfectionists) were a joy to talk to. VERY IMPORTANT TO ME - I needed an experienced builder to take on the difficult task of adapting the entire property for a wheelchair user and I couldn’t have chosen a better company.

Matt and his team built an extension to incorporate a kitchen/diner and utility room. From start to finish, the project has been managed efficiently and professionally. The team were all exceptionally competent, pleasant to deal with and the site was left clean and tidy every day.
My resulting extension has been admired by the neighbours and blends in very well to its surroundings.

Garage conversion - Outstanding!!
Matt runs his company like a maestro at the London philharmonic, never missed a beat and timed to perfection.
From initial conversation to completing the works, we were kept fully informed of what was happening and when, never failing to do what they said.
I can highly recommend all the trades used, who all did an amazing job and left our home tidied up every night as Matt expected.
Outstanding company to deal with and would definitely be the first contact should we need anything doing again.
My snagging list at the end of the job was blank, not one thing needed doing.

Matt has two catchphrases, one of them he would say to me every time I threw a problem or concern his way - “Don’t worry, we’ll sort it”. I have to admit that at the start of the build, it made me nervous. I quickly learned that he meant what he said and I had no need to worry. Every single time, he came through and he sorted it out. Never was he the cause of a problem, but often he would have the solution. There are at least 2 or 3 really significant parts of our project that could have gone badly if Matt hadn’t spotted issues early and found a solution.

His other catchphrase is “Not a problem”… and it never was. When we asked for something, it was sorted. Most of the time we didn’t even have to ask. Matt is too much of a perfectionist and takes too much pride in his work not to sort anything that wasn’t just so. Our plumber told me that Matt’s brickwork was the best he’d ever seen after several decades in the trade. The quality is extremely high and we are delighted with the outcome.

Max and Adam who work for Matt are also brilliant. Friendly, trustworthy, hard working and good fun. It can be hard having builders and trades invading your space while you are having work done on your home, especially when you have kids around, but it was made so much easier by knowing that Matt’s team were all people we knew we could trust.

Overall, a great job by the whole team. Importantly for us, some big pitfalls were avoided that other builders probably wouldn’t have had the skill, experience or will to tackle. Matt sorted it all and as a result we have a wonderful extension which we love and will enjoy for a long, long time to come. Can’t recommend EBR highly enough.

Great building company, very knowledgeable and from start to finish had no complaints, very reliable and I’d 100% recommend to friends and family. Had a large extension which can be daunting but it was all explained about the process about the build and it ran super smooth. Trusting guys too couldn’t do enough for us to accommodate us living in the build with the kids etc. 🙏🏻

The project was a two storey extension that extended out the back and down the side of the house. The quality of the work and service has been incredible, everything has been done to such a high standard. The customer service has been impeccable. Every time any question or issue has popped up there has always been a fast and efficient solution. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.
