I have had no experience with this company other than with one of their drivers who almost pushed me into the central reservation on the A12 today. He indicated last minute as I was coming up in the outside lane but instead of letting me pass he came over and over and didn’t get back into his lane or even attempt to slow down or avoid me. I sounded the horn continuously as I passed him and still he didn’t move back. He showed no consideration towards me at all and just carried on like I wasn’t there. It was a very narrow escape and me and my passenger were extremely shaken afterwards. We are very lucky he didn’t hit us and kill us. His disregard for me and totally irresponsible driving could’ve been a catastrophe. People who think they can do what they like on the roads don’t deserve to drive any vehicle let alone be responsible for a massive lorry. My dash cam has recorded the incident. So whomever the driver is think yourself lucky that you narrowly missed a catastrophic collision that would’ve been totally from YOUR idiotic driving. I hope you read this and think about the safety critical job you have and pay attention and think about other people on the road. 🙁

Arrogant, unprofessional, rude, poor workmanship are words to best describe this company. Had numerous problems with them, Friday would appear to be skive off day for the labourers and all meet at our premises to discuss the upcoming weekend whilst swearing loudly (only stopping when asked). Work not up to even a half decent standard, site manager only appeared once a week for a few minutes. When trying to complain or even trying to get contact details of who to complain to the staff member contacted was rude and abrupt. Asked to speak to one of the Taylor family directly to resolve issues and just received no response at all. Customer service is almost non existent.

Had your company try to repair my badly fitted roof . You started around 14/8/19 scaffolding came down in December , tiles started falling off in January amongst other issues . lasted well All work done via NHBC Still no work been done here. I know COVID 19 has a part to play in this , but the lockdown started in March , 2 months after you were informed of the issues We are 3 months away from it being a year Since the work was started. Is it possible for you to send a reputable roofing company here to finish the job and correct all the mistakes and corner cutting? I would be grateful if when you find a roofer capable of doing the job properly you inform me of there website, reviews, qualifications and any other information about them I may need to convince me they are any better than the last bunch of Bodges you sent

As a supplier to EJ Taylor for over 20 years, I have seen many of their jobs throughout the various stages of construction through to completion and am proud to be a supplier to this company. They have won awards for the quality of their works and do not shy away from purchasing quality products from ourselves where there are always options to buy cheaper products in this industry. The comments I have read are aimed at employees of the company which can be very difficult to manage for a business of their size. In circumstances such as these, I am pretty sure EJ Taylor, given this information would investigate and deal with these individuals as their reputation is important. Great company and unfair criticism

I am writting this review as a very disappointed customer of the company. EJ Taylor & Sons recently undertook some repair work to our fridge / freezer doors on behalf of Bovis Homes. This has been a disaster from day one and there has been a number of itemas damaged in our home as a result of their incompetence and lack of respect for personal belongings. On the first instance the "technician" dropped the fridge door on my kitchen trolley and denied the damage. This was only admitted after my husband showed the cctv footage of the door being dropped and questioning the honesty of the employee. Round two came along and they send back two other employees to "rectify" the situation. Unfortunately they damaged our property even further leaving unsightly holes in the fridge/freezer panels, damaged to our walls, the fridge unit falling ontop of on of our work surfaces when they try to install it - the workmanship is disgusting. My husband got on the phone immediately to Jamie who assured him someone will be out to inspect the damage (still waiting and it has been nearly a month now) and that the worktop would be replaced. We have today received and email - may I add after my husband chasing them, to inform us that they do not accept responsibility to the damage of our worktop (which they damaged). We are now left with a worktop with a massive dent right on the edge directly opposite the fridge/freezer unit and EJ Taylor has turned around and said it is not their problem. If it wasn't for the fact that they were a Bovis Homes contractor I would never allow these people back in my home. We are now sat with property damage, one messed up fridge/freezer unit and a company who tells their customers they are out right liars even though we had to provide cctv evidence of their employee damaging our property in the first instance and first visit. This is unacceptable behaviour from a company towards their clients. One highly disgusted and dissatisfied home owner

E J Taylor are our main provider of building services at Milbank and have undertook many different projects over the last 5 years from small wall repairs to large foundation work for our 30 ton gantry cranes and extensions for our offices and factories. They are a very professional and reliable outfit and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Here at Crammonds Designs Limited we have been working with E.J Taylor over 17 years supplying and fitting fireplaces for them. They always use the best quality products and always install our finest Portuguese limestone fire surrounds. They are reliable and punctual and are a fabulous company to work with and we will continue to work along side them for many more years hopefully.
