AVOID, AVOID AVOID
I can agree completely with the previous review. Jonathan Gull the owner of this company is fraudulent in practice and has a reputation as such (I only wish I'd known prior).
A 6-8 week job became 8 months and when asked for work to be finished Jonathan Gulls communication was inadequate and his attitude appalling. When questioned as to why not doing work, his response was to ignore us or try and lay blame on us, for him not actually doing the job he'd been paid for.
We have young children and he left us without cooking facilities for 3 months and after 8 months a shell of a bathroom and incomplete extension. With rubble and rubbish everywhere.
He had not started the building control regulations contracted to undertake. The entire experience has been harrowing and I share this to hope others avoid such a situation.
It has cost us thousands to rectify his fraud and we have also reported him and company to trading standards and made companies house aware.
Please be careful as there is no guaranteed legal avenue to recoup loss. Jonathan Gull just changes the Ltd company name to avoid legal action. See East Coast building and Maintenance Ltd. Please note I have all documentation and correspondence to confirm my review.
