Chris expertly managed our refurbishment project all the way through. This started with the specification of the work and drawing up the tender document, contacting builders and advising on which one to choose. He closely supervised the work when it started and brought in the engineering expertise when needed. His advice on all aspects of the project including choice of finishes was invaluable- he has a very good sense of design and colours and researched it all thoroughly.
I had been tempted to go direct to a builder but Chris’ service was worth every penny and ensured we ended up with a new home we are delighted with.

Working with Chris at EN architects was an absolute dream. I came to them with a unique idea to create a folly in my back garden that would take advantage of the extensive views. This they delivered in spades. There was a lot of toing and froing from the planning department because of restrictions and neighbours complaints. I can't recommend EN architects enough professional, patient, calm and solution driven, when I was becoming frustrated. All in all a great result with everyone a winner

Highly recommend Chris and Alice. Not only do their designs offer a wow factor but they are also highly organised, flexible and understanding to our needs. Chris far exceeded our expectations with his design for our home. His design maximised our space whilst also remaining sensitive to the site which meant it breezed through planning. Chris was very enjoyable to work with, coming up with lots of creative solutions to meet our needs, listened well to what we wanted and was always very relaxed and friendly. The 3D renders that Chris shared with us were a really great tool in helping us to visualise his design and make decisions about key elements. We absolutely love living in the home that he designed for us!

We were one the first clients for ENA. It was our long dream to expand our tiny apartment in Brighton to utilise the basement as a proper music room. When Chris came over for the first time to talk about the project, we immediately felt at ease with him and we knew that he really understood us, our vision for the expansion and our financial circumstance. He explored all possible options (and beyond!) to utilise space for us and explained the benefit of each option. I am not going to lie, the project was big and we put all our money in it. It was difficult at times, because our lovely old building threw multiple unwanted surprises to us during the work. But Chris was there along the way, sorting all the issues out! I do not know what we would have done without him! His expertise, calm behaviour and kind guidance helped us along the way. I am sitting in our beautiful music room now, surrounded with our record collection and our instruments while I am typing this review. We wouldn’t have had this fantastic outcome without ENA. I would call them again without hesitation for our next building project. However, I might take a bit of a break before 🙂
