I recently engaged the services of Engineering Architecture Ltd to undertake work to enable sign off of a loft conversion by the local authority’s Building Control Service. Within a few days, they had reviewed the plans, carried out a physical survey and provided me with a report for the council. Following the survey, David explained his findings to me in layman’s terms, which was much appreciated. Throughout the process, I found both Richard and David to be friendly, helpful and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again or recommend their company to others.

We settled on Engineering Architecture having talked through our project with a number of other architects. Engineering Architecture for us, has the advantage of a structural engineer being integrated as part of the package.

Our conversations showed them to have a sympathetic but also a realistic view on listed buildings. Our project was with a Grade 2 Listed 16th C. house though past works had severely compromised it’s period integrity.

We wanted a contemporary extension to the property whilst at the same time restoring what we could of the period elements.
Richard and David are very patient and professional in dealing with clients and have guided us through a difficult and ultimately successful project.
