Steve did the drawings and calculations in a timely manner for our house alterations. However once the builder started work it was clear from the building control inspectors he had not fully described the actual work when submitting the building regs application. At this point he failed to respond to my messages left on his mobile, office landline or email. No answer service saying he is ill or on holiday just the standard can’t take your call I will get back to you!
Hence the one star score as when I needed his help to sort out his own error he went AWOL. So bear that in mind.

Emily and Steve have been absolutely great in helping us to redesign our kitchen and utility layout. From the first visit, they asked all of the right questions and took a good amount of time on site in order to really understand what we wanted. Pricing was reasonable and communication clear.
Emily went over and above at the design stage, providing multiple options and detailed notes on her considerations for each. Emily’s local knowledge and excellent communication also really helped us to get quick approvals (twice!), especially since our house is both listed and in a conservation area. Steve provided detailed technical drawings quickly.
I can’t wait to get going with the changes now, and to finally have a kitchen that we love. Thanks so much Emily & Steve for all of your help. Highly recommend.

My wife and I purchased a small listed house in Bewdley which needed some alterations to fit our requirements. the major one was to dismantle a steel spiral staircase and to erect a more in keeping wooden staircase to suit the property. We had no idea of the listed building requirements and we were introduced to Emily and Steve from Engineering & Building Design Ltd who explained to us the need to obtain Listed Building Consent from the District Council. They quickly set about taking measurements and ultimately prepared Plans and Drawings for submission to the District Council. The District Council has now approved the application and we have been kept fully informed of the way forward to completion of the conversion. We were very impressed by their attention to all matters and do without doubt recommend this company to anyone undertaking planning requirements and preparations for relevant permissions

I couldn't recommend Engineering & Building Design Ltd enough! Their level of professionalism is extremely high and they go above and beyond what is being asked of them. Emily has worked late hours to help me achieve what needed to be done in such a short time frame and Steve has been a massive help. I appreciate how busy this trade is at the moment but they have always communicated with myself throughout the whole process and delivered on every aspect that they said they would. Even on days where they're working on site or working from home, if I couldn't reach them on the phone, they were just an email away! I really feel valued as a customer and I'm so thankful for all of their help. Thank you.

We are so pleased we chose Engineering & Building Design for our extension. Emily and Steve listened to what we required from our extension, they are both so lovely to work with. The plans were exactly what we wanted and that is all we had to do apart from employ a builder. All the legal work was taken care of for us. We wouldn’t have known where to start, they explained the process to us and were always happy to answer any of our questions.
