HORRIBLE HOA COMPANY. MY FAMILY PURCHASED OUR FIRST HOME IN WINDMILL FARMS IN DECEMBER 2023, AND FROM WEEK 1...WE REGRET IT! OUR NEIGHBOR HASN'T CUT THEIR GRASS SINCE BEFORE WE GOT HERE. AND ACCORDING TO THE PERSON I SPOKECTO AT ESSEX MANAGEMENT, I WAS INFORMED THEY ARE NOT MANDATED TO. SUCH AN EYE SORE TO MY PROPERTY. ANITHER SECTION 8 OCCUPANT 2 HOUSES DOWN HAVE TURNED THEIR FRONT FACING GARAGE INTO A MECHANIC SHOP WITH OLD RAGGEDY CARS PARKED ON THE BLOCK FOR DAYS & WEEKS AT A TIME, TAKING UP SPOTS FROM RESPECTABLE VISITORS. THE SECTION 8 DRUG ADDICTS & FELONIOUS TRASH THEY ALLOW TO RENT HERE IS DEPLORABLE. WE SO REGRET IT!!

Brian has been extremely helpful in a couple of situations where I really needed some assistance. He did so with kindness and understanding.

I appreciate his help in both of these matters. He made me feel like they were legitimate requests, and didn’t make me feel ridiculous in asking for help. I truly appreciate that. Sometimes as a senior you’re presumed to be an annoyance. Brian did just the opposite, and made sure i knew the situations were valid, and took action immediately.

He made me feel like there was no need to worry, and things would be taken care of. I appreciate his kindness and professionalism in working with me.

Essex management is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Called to dispute a bill they had sent to me and got the run around from billing and the property manager himself. Didn’t try to explain why there was the charge other than a ‘special assessment’. If I had any other choice I would move to another house where this company has nothing to do with the property. I asked them to send me information in the mail about hoa meetings and was told I can go on their portal as opposed to sending a physical copy

Hello. I live in Mesquite, TX at the new Iron Horse Village community. Our landscapers are ruining our yards and nothing is being done about it. We have complained about this matter for months to only be told “they will let the manager of D&D Landscaping know”. Instead of mowing our lawn they use the weed eater to just cut it. Their trimming has ruined our yard and we finally had enough of this happening. I have told the landscapers to stop cutting our yard even though we are paying for it. Would never recommend moving into a neighborhood with this type of HOA management. Lack of communication or solution to this matter is a huge concern. Something must be done.

I will never buy another home managed by this company or developed by centurion American. It feels as if all this company cares about is giving us fines and violations. We were told our amenity center in Mobberly farms would be done by summer of 2024 and now they are saying summer of 2025. Essex says it’s on the developer and they have no say in when it gets done. However, it should be their job to put pressure on the developer to get it done as we are paying way too much in HOA fees to not have an amenity center. When we ask them where our money is going they tell us it’s in the budget breakdown but what they give us is very vague. This company needs to be more transparent, honest and have better communication with the homeowners.
