Poor. Communication almost non-existent. Seems to be a variety of sub-contractors under an umbrella company with its spokes unconnected. All the lads who turned up to do things were great but no organisation from Evolve in arranging their visits. Scaffolders arrived without notification, couldn't do the job first time and came back at 7.30pm the day before the solar panels were installed. My major gripe is that I asked if solar panels would require us to have a smart meter, which I don't want. Surveyor said no and explained about gains from solar being fed back into grid if we produce more than we use. Solar panel installers left today, telling us we'd have to contact electricity provider as electric meter spinning backwards. Looks like we WILL need a smart meter to rectify and to be sble to make use of excess. Contacted Evolve to complain but was informed "was only a surveyor" so unlikely he'd know. Couldn't get either man I spoke to to understand that somebody, somewhere, in this direct line of contact had given us misinformation. The complaint couldn't have been more arrogantly disregarded. Felt patronised and ridiculed.

I'm extremely disappointed with Evolve Home Energy Solutions Ltd. They cancelled my appointment due to staff illness, which is understandable. However, instead of rescheduling me fairly, they've tried to shove my appointment to the very back of a ridiculously long waiting list. This is completely unacceptable; their internal staffing problems shouldn't penalise existing customers. They should have moved the entire queue back to maintain the original appointment order. To add insult to injury, a manager was instructing the phone operator on how to handle my complaint but refused to speak with me directly, despite my asking twice. This lack of accountability and customer service is frankly appalling. I wouldn't recommend them based on this experience.

I thought rather than putting it into an email and sending it to them as they instructed, I'd put my time to better use and write a review instead.

I've cancelled the job and escalated it back to Yes Energy Solutions who manage the job and instruct the partners.

Everyone was great from start to finish. Admin/workmen and management all deserve praise.
I had electric heaters and solar panels installed.
Ben, Jarrid, Shaun and Connor were all superb.
Efficient and did make my place clean after the works.
Matthew is approachable, helpful and will ensure all is as it should to 100% satisfaction. Neil and Steve also great.

Kai and Nathan came out to install a fan in preparation for all the insulation going in covered by a grant scheme. They were pretty quick and explained what they were doing. They also left the place cleaner than before they arrived.

Have just had loft insulation installed by them after Sean came to assess our property and assured us the cost would be covered by the government scheme. The guys installing it said Sean only measured for half our loft but said they had enough insulation to do the whole loft and also assured us the cost would not be ours but was covered by the scheme. Two weeks later we get a bill for over £1000. Communication with this company has been terrible from the start.

Had work completed this morning. The 4 lads were sound enough, and looked to have done a good job. However, echoing another review here, the lack of dust sheets or vacuum cleaner caused me to have a massive clean up after they went. Also left my child pram to get filthy from dust etc when doing outside. Granted, i could've moved it but thought common sense would've prevailed. The garage is filthy and dusty and with pellets all over kitchen and garage.

EDIT - Around 3 years on, I still get the little pellets within and outside of my house. Its so frustrating that these things stick around, go all over my garden and onto neighbours.

AVOID - £1600 wasted - left us in a worse position!!!

We had evolve attend our property to remove old inadequate insulation and to replace with new.
They failed to remove the insulation, and failed to correctly refill.
We are renovating, so when replacing our window sills we could look into the cavity. Old insulation still present and huge voids where they failed to refill.
After identifying this, evolve came back out to fix this. They showed up without prior notice and began further extraction. Another team then followed shorty after to refill. But couldn’t refill as there was still old insulation left!!!

What is really laughable is their compliant manager.

We emailed and asked for a refund. Manager said they would fix it. But we requested we didn’t want them to return for the third time to “fix it” as this would be at a financial lost and they need access to the property. We have also lost faith in the company. The manager admitted failure of insulation said our warranty is void yet refused any compensation.

We are now left with voids in our cavity so we are left in a worse position.

Avoid at all costs and seek another company.

Positive experience overall with free loft insulation and HIVE controls for Eco 4.

Installation was prompt and professional on both occasions.

One star deducted however for cancelling the original installation appointment without notice when I had time off and rebooking without consultation on a day I wasn't available. When questioned about this, no one could give a straight answer.
