We have nothing but good things to shout about when it comes to Exact Design & Build. Russell is exceptional at attending to the detail and Hannah is so personable with advice, reassurance and guidance - a perfect complimentary business partnership. They took our architects designs and brought them to life through a complete renovation of the entire ground floor of our home and built a stunning extension which was on time and within our budget. They made suggestions for aspects we hadn't considered and overall took the effort out of what some consider to be a very stressful experience. When everyone tells you that your "builders" won't get it done on time, they'll burn your budget, and proceeds to tell you a horror story.....Exact are a true testament to how smooth and joyful it can be.

We engaged Russell and Hannah at Exact to project-manage our kitchen-diner renovation and we're so glad we did. It was a fairly substantial project (approx 10 weeks) with walls being removed and massive bi-fold doors being installed, so it involved a whole host of different expert tradespeople (which we'd have had no chance of coordinating by ourselves). Exact have clearly built strong relationships with all the best local tradespeople - every visitor was punctual, professional and tidy, and the scheduling worked like clockwork - every day there was tangible progress, and they seamlessly absorbed the occasional alteration into the pre-agreed schedule without compromising on the level of quality and detail. We can honestly say Exact took all the stress out of what could have been quite a frantic time (the scheduled completion was a week before Christmas!) and we look forward to enjoying our new open-plan family space for many years to come.

We had the plans drawn up for a major reconfiguration of two-thirds of the downstairs space of our house about three years ago, but it was such a major and expensive project that we kept wavering. That was until we consulted Russell of Exact Design & Build who put our minds to rest about two major issues – that he would personally handle every aspect of the project, and that it would be complete within ten weeks. He agreed that opening up the kitchen/utility room, dining room, hall and porch into one open-plan living area, plus extending the cloakroom, would totally transform the space – and that is exactly what it has done. Russell did a great deal of the work and had a fantastic team of tradespeople he called in to do aspects such as electricals, lighting, joinery, boiler replacement and fitting of windows. The whole project went very smoothly, and to budget, and we would unreservedly recommend Exact Design & Build for a job well done, without stress or hassle, and excellent value-for-money.
