I called out Scott to treat the dryrot in my house. I already had the plaster removed for access to the bare walls, and infected lintels replaced with concrete type. He gave me a very competitive price and came on the agreed date to do the job. The job took a full day as there was quite a big area to cover. He and his team left the workplace tidy and informed me of the safety precautions to stay clear of the areas due to the noise of the drilling, dust and chemical being used.
The 30 year insurance certificate was provided with the correct back-up documents, which I called the Insurance Company to verify and they confirmed Fixrot was covered by them.
I would have no doubts about calling Fixrot out again in the future for the various building work they do, although I hope I never have dryrot again in future properties!

Scott came out to do a damp and timber report as per our mortgage conditions. We had a report from another big damp proof company for an enormous amount of money for very little work. Scott was half the price for much more work. He did damp tanking, chimney repairs, flat roof sealing woodworm treatment and more. Scott also liaised with our insulation people for us so that it all ran smoothly.
I would definitely recommend Fixrot.co.uk and Scott to people not only looking for damp proofing but building and repairs also. There is always a written quote emailed to be accepted or declined so there are no surprises when it comes to bills. The damp proof and timber work all comes backed with a 20 year sovereign guarantee of which fixrot are definitely approved contractors I know this because I checked.
All on all we had an excellent experience using scott and fixrot. he was helpful for advise on other issues too.

Great workmanship. Transformed my downstairs kitchen, livingroom and dining room into a lovely new open plan down stair. Structural beams not an issue and nothing was an issue. Took 1 week longer than expected but first class and happy to recommend to anyone. Won't look past fixrot again. Cheers
