What can I say over a 4 week period I had numerous deliveries from Gary. He was always prompt and very helpful he even went the extra mile with my first delivery. He had just returned off holiday and delivered aggregate that I needed on a Sunday. I had already shopped around on the Internet and the prices here were fantastic. Fantastic service from the team. Ordered 3x bulk bags. Order placed at 9am after a quick call to confirm lead time on delivery, products delivered same day by 10am. Perfect!

Although this firm offer good quality logs, I am afraid that they have been extremely poor when it comes to delivery.

My first order was in February. No show on the arranged date but it turned up several days later.

My second order in May was delivered on time.

The third order was in September. Eleven days after ordering through their website I still had no fuel in spite of exchanging a number of emails with Billy - "hopefully be with you tomorrow", "should be with you Tuesday". I was asked if I could accept delivery early Friday morning before I went to work. I said that I could but that I had to leave at 7:45am. Again there was no delivery. I ended up going elsewhere in the end but I thought I would give them another (fourth) try just last week.

Delivery was arranged for today, Thursday 16th November. I cleared the log store and stayed in all day but again they did not show up. It is now 7:45pm. I have had no explanation as to why this is. I have found Billy to be a nice enough guy but I simply don't understand why delivery commitments are not being honoured.

Bought a bulk bag from Gaz via text message, great communication, arrived when he said he would, the bag was huge and very full - I still have no idea how my wife got it in the house! Paid using card reader he brought with him. Great service look forward to the next purchase - wife not so.

Excellent service from Gaz who has recently taken over this business. I ordered a bag of kiln dried logs and packs of kindling, this was delivered promptly on the day and at the time he stated it would be. I had a couple of questions about different types of wood available and he took the time to explain the various options they sell and was very helpful. Gaz was polite and courteous both in correspondence and in person upon delivery, I will definitely by placing my future wood orders with Glossop coal and log supplies

I’ve just recently switched to Glossop Coal and Logs and I’ll definitely be using them again. Great service and very competitively priced. Always delivers when they say they will and Gaz is really flexible in customising orders if you want a mix of different wood. Very impressed with the orders I’ve had!

Absolutely useless ask for a time to tie in with other deliveries and they don't listen to you they had wrote it down and still couldn't get it right. Gaz the owner does his own thing and is lazy, office staff don't listen either. I was using you all the time but you have had 2 chances now after messing up on another job with materials. Won't be using you again organisation skills are a 0 don't know at how to run a business!

IF YOU WANT YOUR STUFF ON TIME I WOULDN'T USE THESE GUYS!
