It is rare to find a developer/builder at the level of GMC. The design is outstanding and very low carbon with slate and timber construction.
Having bought from plan we were able to work flexibly with Neil to specify the interior features we desired. It is notable that this is a very local project to Berwick, being designed in a beautiful spot from a local vision, funded and risks taken locally, materials largely sourced from local suppliers and built by dedicated, skilled craftsmen from the locality, who all worked to the highest standards and took an obvious pride in their work and the project. Unusually, and to the credit of the developer, the craftsmen were given the time to carry out the work properly.
We have always had an interest in low energy living and have bought no energy whatsoever since the system was switched on, three months ago, and indeed have been sending surplus energy back to the grid.
All in all we have the house of our dreams and enjoy living every day like a holiday.

It has been a pleasure to have Neil Craig and his GMC Team working on our extension, their excellent build has surpassed all our expectations and our new extension seamlessly merges with our home internally and externally.
Working drawings were prepared from our sketch designs and the necessary approvals were quickly obtained. Works were carried out quickly with minimum disruption, and our home was respected at every stage. Despite delays caused by the door/window supplier the works were completed in the programmed 9 weeks by a dedicated team working on our project throughout providing professional craftsmanship, and it was a pleasure to have them working in our home.
We were kept involved with decisions required throughout the build, implementing our wish list of design ideas.

Their workmen carried out the work with due diligence and in a tidy manner. Mr Neil Craig filled out all the paperwork for the feed in tariff and all I had to do was sign the documents.
