I contacted Go plans after changing my mind about what kind of extension to do. Go plans were extremely helpful, fast in turnaround times from initial consultation to drawings, and equally as good with the building regulation drawings.

I’m quite fussy and there were a lot of little adjustments to be made to the drawings but Oli was helpful at adapting to our requests throughout the process. Would definitely recommend

Go Plans made our lives so much less stressful during the early stages of our single storey wraparound extension. They did all of the architectural plans, structural engineering/building regulation plans for our contractors and also dealt with building control matters. Meeting with their team in person and via Zoom was stress free, flexible and really put us at ease. They were also competitively priced. Would recommend and use them again on a build in future.

Awesome. Just fab. I needed help end to end across architecture, engineering, technicalities, design, council representation as well as an SoW for the whole project to be delivered (as well as quoted for by builders) for a rear extension and internal reconfiguration with chimneys, toilets, plumbing and walls. The entire team was brilliant from start to finish with little fuss. When I had a major issue with UKPN and council over legacy power supply issues with my house, Go Plan acted immediately after I escalated to them and managed to amend plans asap for approval within 5 days. Trustworthy, approachable and above all, value! This goes for the whole team, Oli, Shilan, Joe, Aswin and last but not least, stitching everything together, Renata, what a gem she is. Go Plan will be used again for future projects, for sure!

First of all it’s important to flag the managing director and business partners of this company, have set up several failed Architecture firms over the last 10 years which have all gone into liquidation - something we were not aware of when we employed their services for our full renovation project on our family home. Please do check on Companies House for reference - the other companies include Go 360 Ltd (Oliver Newall as director), 360 Architecture (Oliver Newall as director) and Summit Architecture (Oliver Newall as director)

After working with the team for over a year on our family house renovation we were unfortunate enough to be paired with most of their under-skilled staff - some of which have stayed with them through the various disolvancy of companies.

While the service received was poor, which I won’t elaborate on, there were serious errors made by their team which have been detrimental and we are now having to take legal action. I do recall seeing similar reviews when researching the other companies after our series of unfortunate events.

Our appointed architect, failed adding in basic fire regulated items in our structural drawings - which meant builder built to spec incorrectly and had to knock down their work, and start again correctly (obviously this incurred additional costs to us)

Our project manager, Paul Foreman, failed to oversee the project (with their reccomend builder) successfully - he ‘forgot’ to apply for building control prior the build, was not able to get us to pass retrospective building control due to the number of items he missed (for example didn’t realise foundations were needed when building a bay window, informed the builder of the wrong ceiling insulation thickness), ensuring no lintel was required to support a wooden beam - his very dated knowledge was detrimental and the assigned building control officer had (still has) serious concerns over his qualifications to be able to Project Manage such a disaster.

The cost to rectify the work has been crippling - and I wouldnt want anyone to go through the stress we have had to. I know we aren’t the first, and won’t be the last but I hope this honest review can help anyone at the beginning of their decision making process.

We used Go Plans to prepare our planning application, building regulations and structural engineering plans for our extension project. They did an excellent job and were very helpful and efficient.

They came to measure up our house to create 'existing' drawings. Their architect then helped us develop our proposals and created drawings and 3D images. After Go Plans secured planning permission, they also advised on building regulations matters and prepared and supported that application.

Go plans provided a quick and streamlined design experience with well timed handovers between different professionals. Our plan did however fall short of the planning authority's expectations, due to fire regulations, and after accepting the outcome Go plans helped us out free of charge with necessary adjustments. I would recommend Go plans for their quick and easy service, especially for smaller jobs.
