We had a great experience with Good Design & Build for our mansard extension. Their quote was reasonable and they stayed within budget, and worked quickly, efficiently and to a high standard. Nuan our project manager was friendly, professional, gave good advice and dealt with anything that came up efficiently. Avni our builder was brilliant, working very quickly and accommodating the fact that our family was living at home during the upheaval of the works. He and his team did a great job, delivered on time, and had a positive attitude if small challenges arrived during the work. We are really happy and love being in our beautiful new space!

Our engagement, albeit for only one phase of our project has certainly been positive. A special mention goes to Amol, who truly understood our project from our telephone call and onsite visit, with the detailed scope of work provided reflecting our needs and vision for the project.
Our only regret is not having met them earlier during the design phase, as we believe partnering with them at that stage would have led to us working together to complete the build.
We would recommend this team to anyone seeking a reliable, skilled, and friendly group to work with.

In the end we decided not to go ahead with a major building project but I can't fault Good Design and Build for the helpful and friendly way they engaged in the early steps of the process. There is a clear sense of overall competence, good organisation and high standards. I'm happy to recommend anyone else to give them a try!

My partner and I had the pleasure of using GDB for our design and planning stages of our renovation and they were very accommodating.
Luis (our architect) in particular was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we could have the design that we wanted as well as providing his own input to maximise space and efficiency.
I would 100% recommend using them if you are considering a renovation.

I won an Instagram competition for free architectural drawings worth £3K. As I was in the process of moving to a new house, I explained the situation and GDB said not to worry and to be in touch when we had completed.
Within a week of moving, I had Amol round taking time off work to accommodate, and it was only at the end that he said he would no longer be honouring the competition as too much time had past.
I queried where a "use by" deadline had been set as part of the competition terms, and got a nonsense reply back as they hadn't set a deadline.
Ultimately I feel that this is not within UK competitions law and that I wasted my time having this company round in my personal space. Very disappointing.

Working alongside Good Design and Build was such an eye-opening experience. The quality of their work is amazing, great design, a great team behind the scenes and most importantly, they are there from start to finish making sure things run smoot, and the projects get done to standard. The way they renovate lofts and extensions is impressive. We found from our first interaction with ‘Good Design & Build at The Ideal Home Exhibition, that they were a company that took the time to understand our thoughts , while also being very helpful in visualising the potential of our dream in bringing it to reality on screen, this was very helpful in assisting us to explore going forward in having our idea explored by their design architect, Luis Prego.

Our experience with GDB has been nothing but positive. It was a big decision to under fairly large work to our home.
From the initial contact the process was easy and delt with in a very professional manner.
Our contractor was first rate, and we quickly built up,a good rapport and understanding along with that we were able to put complete trust in him and his workers, who were amazing. They were extremely hard working, impeccable time keepers, showed huge respect to us our home and our neighbours, we would welcome into our home anytime.
The quality of the work is excellent and the space we now have is beyond anything we had hoped for.
A huge plus for us was having our project manager deal with any council paperwork, permits certificates ect which took worry away from us.
There were a few delays along the way but they were delt with and sorted out as quickly and efficiently as possible.
I would have no hesitation in recommending GDB and they would be our first port of call if we ever decided to have more work done.
