We had an awkward loft conversion to create a new bedroom and a knock through to make a dining/ living room completed by Ewan, Grant and the team at Gormac. The work completed was to a very high standard. The kept us well informed throughout and made sure we understood what was happening. This work has completely transformed our house and I would highly recommend the company.

After being let down by our architect and feeling like we were getting nowhere with our renovation, we contacted Gormac construction. During our first meeting with Ewan we felt instantly at ease and like we had finally found someone who would help us achieve the vision we had for our home.
From the get go Grant and the building team were friendly, accommodating and did everything they could to keep us informed of what was happening, working with us to make the process as easy as possible.

Following requests for pricing from 3 separate builders, we chose Gormac Construction to do our Sunroom extension, based not on price, as there were little between them, but mainly on speed, availability and flexibility. We are delighted with the result and quality of their work and with the integration to the deck and bi-folding doors, we have a great extension to our home and have had fantastic use from it. I would highly recommend Gormac for any Building work that you are considering.

We used Gormac to build a single storey extension and re-model of the existing kitchen and dining area. Our experience from initial quote through to completion was excellent. Ewan was great to communicate with and set our minds at ease going into what is a stressful process, pricing was clear and when options or issues came up the soloutions were presented clearly and honestly. On site, Grant's team and all of the subcontractors conducted their work in a highly professional manner and kept us informed of progress, snags and decisions we needed to make continuously. After two years of trying to get a joiner to do the work, Gormac Construction have recently built a bespoke cupboard under my stairs... They previously built an extension on the back of my house, so I knew the work would be carried out to a good standard. Very pleased with it...

Gormac Construction did a fantastic job for us, we required a company that would conform to a high standard whilst keeping an eye on the price. Ewan and his guys did just that with our flat roof, removing leaking membrane and replacing with new rubber roofing ensuring all was watertight. They did an exceptional job of installing our Cedar cladding and did so in a timely manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending Gormac for anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable company.

Gormac construction have recently finished our single story extension and we are very pleased with the service they provided. When I first met the owner Ewan for a quote I was impressed with his enthusiasm and general positive attitude. The quote we were given subsequently was very detailed with each individual element of the build costed separately. This made it easy to see where the money was going and to budget for the upcoming payments during the build itself. Throughout the build everything was well managed with little or no delay between each phase meaning the project progressed well and was finished quicker than I would have expected. Communication was good throughout and any challenges they came across were quickly highlighted, discussed and overcome. Overall the experience from start to finish was very positive and we are happy with the final product.
