I arranged for Patrick to come and carry out a damp survey at my property due to certain areas in my house having mould and cold spots.

Patrick advised that ventilation was my main issue and gave great tips and different options to remedy the issue. After discovering there were no major issues and not much to report on, Patrick kindly offered to refund 50% of the cost of the survey which was very honest of him.

I have no doubt that in the future when we plan to do building work in our property, I will be calling Patrick out to complete the task.

We were selling mums house after she had to go into care, and unfortunately had a burst pipe that flooded the house. We live 300 miles away but Patrick has managed all of the build and trades for us. New damp course, house rewired, plasterers and painters. In less then three months the house was fully repaired, with guarantees and safety certificates.
Not only was Patrick good on his quotes, he kept us up to speed the whole time with photos, messages and phone calls as the work progressed.
Very highly recommend, dug us out of a hole and the sale is back on so we can pay for mums care. Thanks Patrick and GUD crew!!

GUD have just done a great job on a bay window. We had had soaking walls inside and these guys found holes in the pointing, gutters that needed work and some water leaking into the bay. Got the job done effortlessly and efficiently. Highly recommend.

Unusual. Queried a job that needed doing.

Was told over £100 just to come and have a look, otherwise its wasted time. I said fine as I won't be looking elsewhere given how good reviews are.

Was then told could be over a month to wait as they are that busy. I also said fine no problem.

Was then advised to go elsewhere and see if anyone will come and look at the job, even though I wanted to hire this company.

Not experienced that before. Really knowledgeable as well. Can only assume in a great position where they can turn work away regular. Fair play.
