I have had the pleasure to know Gurney Consulting Engineers for over 15 years now and truly believe them to be very professional in everything they do. I am currently the Events Coordinator for a local school in Woking and have ran events for over 9 years. Gurneys have always supported the school over the years, with very generous donations and sponsorship. This has always made a huge difference to our events and the children of the school. Without their support together with other sponsors we wouldn't have been able to purchase the wonderful things we have.

Gurney Consulting Engineers carried out structural engineering consultancy services on our Victorian renovation project. We received a thorough report swiftly. We consulted the team further regarding a change to planned flooring. Again the team were efficient and knowledgeable and able to react quickly to our request for an ‘emergency’ meeting with our builder and project manager.

Peter Evans and Gergana Bishurova rallied to enable Chobham Carnival Association to erect the banner across the village High Street that is crucial for publicising the carnival. We needed an engineer to certify the integrity of the brackets that hold up the banner, in order to gain permission from Surrey County Council to erect it. Gergana did the job at not cost, which meant that the fee we had paid an engineer in the past could go into our charity donations pot.

Recently used the guys when we ran into some problems when doing some renovations at our house. Jonathan was particularly helpful and was really quick turning around the report and offered lots of advice too. Would highly recommend and definitely use again should we need to.

Did not do the job correctly. Was brought in to see if a wall was load bearing or not. Did not thoroughly check the structure of the wall and what was resting on the wall. Had to get a different structural engineer in to do a proper job.
