Would just like to share my experience of ordering a Hanson Concrete Garage.
I have to say from start to finish, everyone at Hanson has been very helpful and nothing was a problem in supplying and building my bespoke garage/workshop.They helped with the design, colour and making sure it was exactly what I wanted. The concrete base laying team were on time, clean, quick and very polite along with the 2 nice gentleman who came and built it on the day. A big Thankyou to Alex and all his team for a job well done. Absolute nightmare of a company. They built me a large workshop/ garage and it leaks every time it rains. They have been out to rectify it several times and my garage is constantly flooded. They won’t return my calls or emails now. I took a big bank loan out for this build and all my kit is either wet or rusty

Spar Apex Concrete Shed - Installed today (Tuesday 9th November 2021) by Andy, Brad & Guy (Team 3), they arrived at 7:15am and worked constantly to have completed the build by 11:45am. They were as previous reviews have said; quick, efficient, polite and professional, a pleasure to deal with and a credit to your company.

Customer Services - Due to other building work being carried out at my home I had to contact Hanson's twice to cancel delivery and rearrange it for a later date, this was done with no issue at all and rearranged successfully.

Having bought my shed not directly from Hanson's but through an Agent (Summer Garden Buildings) I have been impressed with the service and quality of product we have received from Hanson's and will go to them directly in future.

Today we had a Hanson concrete garage installed at our property. The team were Andy, Guy and Brad. Very professional. Arrived at 8.15, left after job completed at 11.10. Would thoroughly recommend this company and it's staff. We are very happy.

I ordered a custom steel pre-fabricated outbuilding from Hanson as I wanted to construct a gym in my garden. I had hoped that a pre-fabricated building would be less hassle than building a brick built structure

It required that a concrete base was constructed to act as the foundation for the building for which I paid a local contractor.

When Hanson’s fitters came to erect the unit, they said that the base had been cut to the wrong size and showed me a "garage base instruction sheet" which I should have been sent on placing the order. This explained that the unit needed to fit over the base like a shoebox lid.

I contacted customer services who admitted they had made an error not sending me the sheet. However, I had to pay a concrete cutting company to trim the base to the required dimensions. Hansons also charged me a redelivery fee of £850.

The unit was fitted the following week by Hansons. Three of the panels were damaged, the guttering on both sides leaks and the door doesn't shut properly. I contacted customer services and agreed a refund fee for the panel damage.

Since fitting, I've noticed that there hasn't been enough bolts put in the panels as daylight shines through. I raised this 10 weeks ago with Hanson and still haven't had a date off them for a repair visit.

Whilst I like the look of the unit, I feel that Hanson's customer service is terrible.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! I ordered a £6000 garage from them, 3 months later the installers arrived after already doing a 12 hour day installing a garage elsewhere, they started the build to approx 30% complete and planned to return the next day to finish. I had the look at the 30% built garage and it was horrendous, nearly every panel damaged, panels not lining up, window with massive gaps around it, door was damaged, fascias were damaged. I was not happy at all with it and I told them to remove it and take it with them! Then they had the cheek to try and charge me £1150 for their costs. Which I successfully claimed back through small claims court! BEWARE! Terrible customer service too I didnt even get a sorry for the inconvenience

Buying was quick and easy. The promised delivery date was kept. The two gentlemen that turned up to install were professional and helpful. It was built in half a day and whole site left clean and tidy. A very good and prompt service, I would happily recommend to anyone. Thanks Hanson .
