Fantastic job done by a fantastic team of guys.
We had a large extension and an extensive re-model of the ground floor.
At first we were extremely worried about how it was all going to go. This worry quickly faded. The first day, the guys moved all of the key kitchen appliances, hob and ovens and created a temporary kitchen in what was our dining room. They then sealed off the back half of the house so that they could start their works, and we could use the front half. This really worked for us, and we would highly recommend this approach.
Within the first week, we knew that we were in safe hands with Hewittday. All of the team were very courteous which extended to them leaving the site safe and tidy at the end of each day. We had weekly meetings to go through costs, schedules, tasks and changes. This worked very well and we feel that this communication was key to a successful project.
The workmanship was excellent throughout the project. This also extends to the wider group of sub contractors, such as plasters, plumbers and decorators.
We are very happy with the end result and would highly recommend Hewittday to anyone.

Hewitt Day have carried out work on our property twice over the last few years and done an amazing job both times. Once a full scale extension and the other a roof replacement. Both were undertaken in an extremely professional manner and the workmanship was really high level. They communicate very well throughout, taking the time to fully explain each part of the process. They leave the place clean and tidy and try to limit the impact on your day to day activities. We used Hewitt Day for a full bathroom rip out and remodel which also required moving a wall.

Chris Day was excellent as the PM, highly attentive visiting almost every morning to ensure all was on track. All the more impressive considering ours was a smallish job. The various trades required were all lined up back to back, so no time wasted, and each of them were polite, considerate and right level communicative, without exception.

We've got more work lined up and won't hesitate to get Chris and Team back.

Hewitt day was recommended to us by friends and we had asked them to do our two storey extension in 2022/ 2023.
They did a great job and we really love the extra space we have in the house!
We decided to stay in the house whilst building works were on-going and the team were very considerate and made sure we had a temporary kitchen etc to ensure we were as comfortable as possible during the build.
