*Dangerous and Reckless Driver - Hills Building Group Van (BU18VUV)**

I had a shocking experience this morning with one of the drivers from Hills Building Group in Colchester. While driving to work at 7 am, I approached a roundabout when the driver of a Hills Building Group van (registration number BU18VUV), who had come from Ipswich, recklessly sped through, nearly causing a serious accident. He almost hit a car stopped at the traffic lights, and because there were cars behind me, I was unable to slow down in time and nearly collided with him.

As drivers, we all know the rules of the road, but this individual showed a complete disregard for the safety of others. His behavior was dangerous and could have led to a serious accident. I have the incident recorded on my dash cam and will be reporting it to Essex Police immediately. It's unacceptable that someone driving a company vehicle would be so careless, putting others at risk.

This kind of reckless driving reflects poorly on Hills Building Group, as it shows a lack of respect for the community and for road safety.

Absolutely terrible experience with Hills and their aftercare sales and customer service team. In my opinion, very poor customer service levels, constantly chasing up on emails to get works done and completed to the property (after completion). 5 months later to get the garden sorted. Their original sales executive was also very confusing and misinformed us about the property and boundaries etc until a few days prior to exchange. By that point we were heavily invested. Feeling extremely put down and would not recommend based on all of this and the overall service.

First and foremost I have bought 4/5 properties in my time and would consider myself well placed to know about housing/property as I also work in the industry. I would never have imagined I would have bought a new build home. I have always been anti new-builds because of my own experience in the past and the nightmare stories you hear constantly in my line of work about build quality and lack of customer care etc etc.

I have to say, however - Hills, their sales staff and their Site Manager, Jack, have absolutely changed my opinion and converted me.

Jack was incredible during the buying process and has continued to be post-sale too! He walked me around the site where I ended up buying and showed me how the houses were built. He explained his insatiable appetite to make sure things were right with every single property on his site and pointed out certain elements on the houses which highlight their build quality and his attention to detail.

Diane at the sales office was incredibly friendly and helpful too and nothing was too much to ask for either of them.

The hand over was exceptional and like with most things in life they're never going to be perfect. This was expected but Hills didn't shy away from that fact and anything that I've had an issue with post move in (which has been minimal to be completely honest) have been dealt with quickly and efficiently.

If all new build companies worked to this quality of both product and customer care - I can honestly say I couldn't now imagine buying a second hand property again.

Had the pleasure of buying our first ever home with hills at hunters chase. From the Intial enquiry/ reserving our house with Nicola to hand over with site manager Leon. The staff are excellent and couldn’t do anymore to help you !! Really down to earth and family Orientated company. Even had the pleasure of meeting mr hills on one of our visits and he was really nice. Our house is beautifully finished and we even we recommend the estate to a family friend who also purchased a house and loves it. Would recommend buying with hills to anyone. 10 star!

Awful company, they have no care for their neigbours. They think they own the whole area. They are always making noise and have no care that neighbours are working from home too. Who needs noisy neighbours when you live next door to Hills Builders!!!!

Landlord for their site in Brook Street. Terrible landlord who have no respect for the houses they built across the road. It's tenants like Repz Gym constantly disturbing neighbours with loud music at all times. A disgraceful company with lousy tenants. No morals and no decency.

A couple of their employees do not know how to drive. Swearing and beeping at my car because I was waiting at a red light?! They then proceeded to just run the red light too. Just added the photo of the van.
