The electrical job carried out was an installation of a new extension for which they had the whole of the job. The electrician lost the wires in the ceiling cavity resulting in lots of holes having to be drilled in our beautifully plastered ceiling in order to try and find them in (WE then had to put this right!). He failed to find them and had to drill even more holes in order to install new wiring. This should have been two sets of lights that work independently and instead they are either all on or all off (8 ceiling spotlights are bright!). In order to improve this, we had to pay another electrician to come and install a dimmer switch. In addition, the extension was supposed to have been wired into a whole new circuit (separate from the old part of the house), however, they have failed in this completely as upstairs connects to the old house, but downstairs is on the new circuit. We never had a completion certificate, never had any follow up to check that we were happy with the work. On top of all that, it took much longer than was originally quoted (even taking into account the lost wires). So overall, a big resounding NEVER AGAIN from us.

Edited to add: Thank you for your reply. We do have the correct business, we are also located in Redruth, Cornwall. I can however add that when you were recently contacted for a completion certificate for building regs, this was promptly supplied. ☺️
