Although I am not one of their paying customers, Simon helped me with a problem I was experiencing with my Honeywell Evohome controller. His knowledge and willingness to help has sorted the problem, which in actual fact was more one of not knowing the constraints of the Evohome controller. Simon’s patience and understanding has been great!! Thoroughly recommended!

Simon and his team installed an ATAG boiler for us in an OpenTherm configuration with an evohome controller. There were a few technical obstacles, all of which Simon quickly identified solutions to and the install went smoothly. Simon was very knowledgeable and his advice in setting up the evohome controller and radiator heads was invaluable. The new heating system has been working very well now for several months. Highly recommended.

Simon has just talked me through the addition of the temp and time controls I need to make my heating and hot water system efficient and effective. Unfortunately, I don't live in his work area and so can't benefit by his experience and expertise on the job. He diagnosed the problems with my system as it is set up and devised the solution over the phone. Brilliant! He's really knowledgeable on upgrading warm air heating and the Multicalor product. Very helpful.
Other than the boiler all central heating, immersion heater and heating controls need to be ripped out and updated. We are struggling finding a plumber in Hampshire which has experience with Myson radiators and Honeywell Evohome that will not just have a look, but actually quote for the work. Meanwhile doing our own research and Simon's website was very helpful understanding the Evohome system. I contacted HWCH via email with some questions and Simon was very quick to reply and share how the system should be installed. It's a shame we live outside of his work area, otherwise we'd be keen to work with HWCH. 5 stars for his kind help and information. But would have been great if he could have done the work.

I came across Hot Water and Central Heating Ltd. when I was researching our problems with poor cold water flow and the inadequate performance of our boiler. Simon, the founder and MD of the company, responded promptly and in plain English to my enquiries and helped me to gain an understanding of the complex issues and options. He visited and inspected our installation and discussed and advised us. He provided a comprehensive and competitive quote very soon after his visit. Due to the demands of other contracts and the impact of Covid 19 he could not commit to a start date straight away. I was impressed that he would not take my deposit payment until we could agree a date. Even then it was a very modest proportion of the total contract sum.
Simon and his colleagues arrived promptly on the first day and over 4 days installed a new gas supply pipe, a new more powerful Worcester Bosh combi boiler, undertook a power flush and fitted a large accumulator tank. The work was completed to a very high standard with the absolute minimum mess and disruption.
We are delighted with the results. We have much better hot and cold flows. Showers are no longer affected when other taps are opened and the house is much warmer.

Just over a year ago we asked Simon and his team to rationalise our heating system in our old and dilapidated money pit of a house.

The old system was very complicated (in fact there were 3 different systems in one house) which had been modified over many years. It was largely ineffective and very expensive to run.

Simon created a new system and recommended, amongst other things, the Evo Home system. We can monitor the temperatures in each room and set them accordingly. Having such a high degree of control is really useful.

Our heating bills are significantly lower and our house is lovely and warm. It was a massive undertaking and we are really delighted with the outcome. Thank you!

What a great job! Really pleased with the service we received from Simon at HWCH, he was able to diagnose a fault with our water supply system that 3 other companies had been unable to solve. He is methodical, technically knowledgable and extremely courteous. I’d definitely recommend.
