A proper Building Company echoing years of experience and an office and Yard where the customer is made welcome with prompt attention, thorough professional procedures to safeguard clients wellbeing and topnotch tradesmen who are skilled considerate and communicative . Just wished that I had tried them first. They came to our rescue to finish off a job that others had fouled up.

I would strongly advise against renting with this company. Thanks to one of their employees taking an instant dislike to me and judging me unfairly on face value I am now homeless with my dog living in a garden shed .. she also talked down to my mum and looked down her nose at her. She made my mum feel 1/2 inch tall... the owner clearly had no say in who rents his properties as he was keen for me to rent but she clearly makes all his decisions for him and she turned my application down.

As the result of flooded apartments caused by a roof leak Houchell provided rapid emergency support and undertook structural repairs, electrical work and decorating. All the work was planned in detail, professionally managed with excellent communication and completed in a timely manner. The work was of a very high standard in particular the painting and decorating.

My family has contracted this company for a couple of jobs and we were not satisfied with the outcome in either case. We found the work lacked quality and went over the quoted price. In one case we need to get another contractor in to complete the job. We have had a very bad and expensive experience. Attempts to resolve these problems with the company have not been successful.
