The construction of a new garage, including the re-laying of a concrete base and installation of an EV charger, was carried out extremely professionally and with the minimum of disruption. All the House of Building staff were very competent and courteous and went out of their way to identify potential problems before they arose and proposing solutions which were implemented without any fuss. The project management of the project was excellent with weekly updates of progress and cost which were very useful.

House of Building were recommended by friends for the works we were intending to carry out in our home. I am a recently retired chartered surveyor with over 40 years experience of major construction projects, yet my experience of domestic construction works was virtually non-existent. My only experience was some renovations to our bathroom about 6 years ago, and that was not good! I am delighted to confirm that the experience with House of Building was exceptional. All of the sub-contractors who worked in our home were skilled, helpful, polite and professional. Any small issues that did arise were dealt with swiftly and efficiently, including on a couple of occasions we had visits from sub-contractors 'out of hours' just to make sure everything was well. The overall project management by Justin Jones, in particular, was of the highest order. Nothing was too much trouble and Justin kept my wife and I informed throughout all stages of the 16 week project, with weekly meetings in person 'on site' and regular updates by phone and email. I cannot recommend House of Building enough.

I’ve had my staircase spindles replaced iron spindles for pine ones. David at house of building oversaw the whole thing - could not have been easier or more efficient. The work carried out has been so professional and attention to detail exceptional. I’m lights and have been very impressed.

House of Building completed the removal of an old floor and the preparation for a new one. They are punctual, efficient, tidy workers and they always are hugely accommodating and helpful throughout the process from
Quotation to completion of work. We regularly use them for our home improvement projects.

I've worked with House of Building on two projects in the last 15 years and would highly recommend them. From the initial quote, to build and efficient project management - nothing seems to ever phase these guys. Having the kitchen link into the garden with the bi-fold doors was such a treat during the summer months and I am looking forward to celebrating Christmas in my new kitchen extension.

House of Building (HOB) worked with me on various internal and external projects for about 6 months. The weather was a fairly brutal companion, but the team always showed up to continue the work when there was a break in the weather. We had a hiccup along the way with a leak and this was rectified as soon as it was found. In addition, as is common on large projects, we identified some unexpected problems in the house. HOB brought in the right people to troubleshoot what was going on and quickly found a solution. All the tradespeople were on time, hardworking and polite. The two project managers who worked with me were extremely professional and organised and it made it a relatively stress-free experience, despite having lots of different tradespeople coming and going. I have been very happy with the quality of the job and I would highly recommend HOB.
