Poor after Sales service from Howarth Homes. After buying our first property in July 2018. We have complained about the windows many times to Howarth Homes. After months living in this Flat, they still haven't fixed our windows.. All our windows in our Flat are not closing fully. As a results there is a lot of cold air coming in and bugs from outside.. Poor service in general.

@gary thanks for your response. However the after service is still not improved. Sian (after sales manager), sent me an email 7 days ago with the sentence: I will revert back to you in the next 48 hours. This was 7 ago and I still haven't heard anything back about a new date.....

Having gone through the process of purchasing a property at Howarth Homes Panorama site in Uxbridge, I could not have been happier with the service I have received from start to finish. We attended the launch almost 3 years ago and throughout the process, were kept up to date with progress and given advice with all the legal proceedings.
Upon completion, again the service was first class even when we needed to contact their customer care team with a small minor issue, it was sorted quickly and efficiently.
I could not recommend they highly enough. Thanks to everyone at Howarth Homes.

I bought my apartment at the West London Property Expo in Oct 2018 off-plan. Every part of the process was easy, from deciding which apartment, obtaining a mortgage to the solicitors. The Howarth home team were great. Now that I’ve moved in, the apartment and finish are outstanding! One guy from the Howarth team walked me through the various things in my apartment on the day I collected my keys, which made me feel relived as I didn’t know what to expect. They showed me how things worked and where I could find my meters and things. Great work! ”

I bought a house at Montague Mews, Datchet. The house I bought was the Show House on the development and I'm so happy I moved here.
I had two properties to sell but Howarth Homes were extremely patient and assisted with the move, liaising with my agent and making the process as stress free as possible.
Since moving there has been the odd issue, as you could expect with a new build property, but the after sales I have received has been fantastic.

Not impressed
I have purchased two apartments from Howarth, both were late in being finished.
The latest of which had the design changed without asking or telling me. Although it meant a slight increase in size, the consequence was that the kitchen was squashed into an alcove. No room for a bin, and not even a draw big enough for cutlery.
When asked to sort it out, firstly they said there was no option, then when i explained what was needed, they insisted i paid over £2.5k to have these items corrected..

If you buy a new build property from this company make sure you do a complete snag list. Their after sales service is awful, possibly the worst I have ever experienced. They ignore emails, promise to to call back but never do, than when they turn up to repair faults its usually a handyman who does a quick fix to cover their mistakes only for the problem to resurface at a later date.

Howarth Homes are extremely unprofessional and unreliable to name a particular member of staff Linzie Howland. Anyone who wishes to buy or invest should not do so with them. When we first bought our off the plan property, we were NOT informed that we could not use Help to Buy even though we had clearly stated we needed to use Help to Buy, Linzie and her team failed to inform us that. As first time buyers we were approaching Howarth Homes with an open mind not knowing what to expect and were relying on them to help us.

After pressuring us to sort our finances out in the last 2 months, even though Howarth Homes had clearly stated on the day of purchase AND on their website that the property would be ready by the 3rd quarter of 2020, Linzie specifically quoted to me by email ‘it was always going to ready and complete early 2020’ this was a complete lie and extremely untrue as I know I speak for the other investors and buyers that this was not the case beforehand – this is not what Linzie had said before.

Linzie stated she had ‘been in contact with us over the last 2 months letting us know completion is set for January 2020’ this is another lie – Howarth Homes had misplaced our correct email address and contact details therefore we were not officially warned until November leaving us only 6 weeks or so to get our finances in order not including the Christmas period. We had to hear from other buyers that the proper Was going to complete in January!!!

Linzie had threatened to take our deposit even though the mistake was theirs in the first place. We were fortunate enough of finding a cash buyer in the right time. If it wasn’t for this, Howarth homes were ready to take our deposit. Anyway I can say much more but il leave it as this.

Had a great experience for our first ever viewings at the weekend and we can put that all down to Harry Rai who was not only very proffesional but also extremely friendly, he made us feel comfortable as soon as we walked in tye door. He took his time to explain everything and made sure it was all simplified so we didn't get confused by too much information.
Would 100% recommend him to anyone!
