I have absolutely no complaints about the solution provided for my enquiry or the plans being provided on time.

However, ask for absolute clarity when asking them how much they are going to charge, as they bill on an hourly rate. To put it bluntly, I was a bit taken aback to receive an invoice for asking for triple the length of time I was initially quoted after paying a fixed price for an initial site visit. It was a very simple job, involving one calculation, doubling the cost of what I had expected to pay.

It is time consuming and irritating to then have to argue by email to eventually pay what had been agreed, which was then compounded by being chased for payment after I had already paid.

I would suggest either asking for a fixed price or to ensure that they commit any estimate to writing before using their services.
