Amazing service, thank you. Called mid-morning on Saturday (Easter weekend) after finding City Electrical Factors was closed - despite their website showing them being open - as we needed some cable for an urgent job. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were brilliant - thank you so much for rescuing the job and being so pleasant to deal with.

Nobody seemed particularly keen to as if help was needed. The cash desk was tied up with someone making a large order and when I filly got there was told what I wanted was round in the yard outside and to go to the wooden hut. Again no one there and it was several minutes before anyone came
Only had part of whst I wanted and I was left to take the itemback inside to pay. Yet another wait. If I had beens inclined I could easily gave put the item in my car and driven off- no-one would have been ant the wiser. Your prices were much higher than we had seen from other stores but we needed the item quickly. Will not be visiting again if I can help it

The guys in the wood department are brilliant, nothing is any bother to them, we have been there a couple of times and they have always been curtious and helpful, VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Shocking place to buy materials. First contact is always ‘account or cash’. If it’s cash you get the feeling you are being mugged. Even after spending £1000’s nobody knew my name. Lady from Accounts has a terrible attitude. She reckons she knows everybody who spends £1000’s with them. Really? Definitely not.
The Manager talks the talk, but fails to practice good work ethic and common decency like saying sorry or treating everybody the same.
I recently priced up 80M of skirting board. ‘Account or cash’, cash, please. That’s coming out at £780.00. Jewsons £420.00. That’s for one job. Same material same quality. Shop around you’ll beat their heavy prices.
Poor support. If you ask for help at the desk they belittle you. Probably to mask there own lack of ability and lack of knowledge of the products they sell.
They’ve seen the last of my free flowing cash and talking to people in the Trade who have worked with me my experience is not uncommon.
I’ll spend my cash where it’s more appreciated. As the Manager put it, ‘that’s your choice’. Yes it is. Bye bye.

They sell almost everything to build a full house...but I don't like the place. Staff are fine but seem reluctant to really want to go out of there way to help you.. Maybe it's just me but I felt like that. Prices if have an account are not too bad but without 🤪🤪🤪.
Over all I've always found what I wanted but it's a long time being in there, you have to serve yourself, if you have a lot to get it's a real pain. Different departments requires walking and getting served from yet another member of staff, if they are busy you can easily spend over an hour.

I needed to hire a nail gun. When I arrived to pay for a collect the tool I was left waiting at the till for a number of minutes while I had to listen to a lady who was cleaning the coffee machine telling her colleague behind the till about a drug smuggling story, finally the person behind the till acknowledged me with a flick of the head! Eventually I left with the tool but the story doesn't end there! I returned on Thursday at approximately 4pm to return the tool. Again I was left standing at the till while members of staff just walked past, none of them were actually serving or in a hurry to get somewhere, they seemed oblivious to the existence of a customer being kept waiting! Eventually I went over to an office area to ask to be served and a guy came over, I explained that I was returning a hire tool and he said that he couldn't help me because both people who deal with hiring were either off or not on site! I find it totally unacceptable to be kept waiting and farcical that nobody was able to take the tool off hire! It's about time that people working here realise that customers need to be served as they pay their wages!! I wouldn't recommend this store until they buck their ideas up and the management get a grip!
