Ian and team built our single level extension l including kitchen, downstairs loo and utility space. Communication was excellent throughout and Phil & Frank made sure we always had means to cook, clean and do washing throughout the 4-5 months process during the Winter 2022. Extremely happy with the work completed by Ian and team in the first half of 2021 which comprised a ground floor extension and garage conversion incl. installation of a new kitchen and en suite. Excellent attention to detail at all stages of the build and in the final finish. Very happy with the additional suppliers and sub contractors involved and with Ian’s management of the whole process.

The team maintained a very safe and clean site while we continued living in our home and they took appropriate COVID precautions also, incl. at the height of the pandemic. All of the guys were extremely hard working and approachable and went out of their way to be helpful and minimise disruption for us so far as possible. Would highly recommend.

We had works carried out on a conservatory replacement with extension / lantern and loft conversion carried out in 2020 / 2021.

Ian may appear as expensive, but 2 things (1) you get what you pay for (2) no hidden surprises or work left incomplete.

Ian is a good communicator and the teams Ian uses all work well together and make you feel safe and comfortable. He uses people who are respected in their speciality, so you get good quality workmanship, with warranty and guarantees. The team were also extremely Heath and Safety conscious - During covid, they wore masks when they could have simply stayed apart. Every night, the area was made safe, swept up, tools put away, holes covered, etc. We assumed that was the norm until we witnessed another builder at work.

Additional benefits include visionary Ideas. You may have an idea of what you want; you may even have it drawn up .... Ian will probably say why don’t you do this, or this and that way providing you with alternative practical solutions ... etc . We have ended up with several changes that made a big difference that we had not thought of. The team highlight and resolve problems when they arise, for example; ‘The Well’ you never knew existed! The wall that when uncovered is held together with sticky tape! The job that suddenly needs doing, but not in remit, and when uncovered, reveals more problems to be fixed. All handled efficiently and made good with no short cuts taken just to make it easier or quicker.

It is the whole package, we are very pleased with the end result and quality of workmanship. We do not hesitate when recommending Ian’s services.
