We were referred to Inner Create following their work with Wolverton Community Energy after they carried out a Heat Loss Assessment at our home.

Darren was quick with a helpful and friendly response and he immediately made us feel comfortable and welcome. He came to inspect our home, understand our priorities and concerns and then prepared a Whole House Retrofit Plan.

He talked us through the report to ensure that we understood the contents and the options set out which helped us to decide which areas of insulation to focus on.

Darren then undertook a deeper inspection by making discreet holes and photographed behind walls and in the ceiling to see what existing insulation there was.

This helped us further refine which works would have the most impact (balanced against cost and disruption) and Darren has continued to assist us during the works by advising on insulation products and also liaised directly with our builder during an inspection.

I would not hesitate to work with Darren again; he is very knowledgable and clearly explained the technical aspects of his work - as well as being transparent about the process and costs. Thank you!

Inner Create provided a detailed retrofit plan to reduce the carbon footprint of our house: various way to improve the insulation, ventilation, solar PV and heat pump. They provided a staged proposal, with estimates of the capital costs, changes to the annual energy bills, and carbon saving implications of each stage. We decided to go ahead with the insulation, ventilation and solar PV immediately (we might get a heat pump when our boiler needs replacing), and we paid Inner Create to oversee the work.

We were usure whether it was worth the cost of Inner Create overseeing the work, but having them identify reliable contractors and checking the standard of the work, and Darren being on hand to advise when any issues arose* was very valuable. We are very satisfied with the quality of the work and paying Inner Create was money well spent.

*For example, the PV installers noticed a problem with our chimney when they were on the roof, and, though it didn't affect their work, they drew our (and Darren's) attention to it. Darren put us in touch with a builder who was able to come and fix the problem.
