We found Andrew through a Facebook recommendation. We phoned Andrew up and straight away, found him to be super friendly and a meeting was organised at our home to go over what we wanted from our house extension. After the meeting, he gave us a time when the drawings would be ready for submitting to the council. Sure enough, he was true to his words and he proceeded to get them submitted to the council. We have just received notification of our plans being given the approval by the council and are now ready to get started. All in all, the process has been entirely dealt with by Andrew and it couldn't have been easier. As I am in the building trade myself and been through this process with other companies in the past, I have got to say, I wouldn't use anyone else again. His company also carry out the build if required and if I wasn't in the trade, I would certainly use him going forward.

We are at the planning stage at the moment and Jordan has been on the ball with the spec since the start. He came out to do the survey very quickly, listened carefully to our needs and ideas and turned around the drawings exactly when he said he would. He was attentive and drew our attention to pitfalls with the cost which is a service really hard to find but so much needed when you are on this journey. He has already gone above and beyond any architectural service we have had up to now and exceeded our expectations! I fully recommend his service to anyone considering renovation.

I am working with Andrew of JC Building Design on a large, part-underground, basement extension to a 300+ years old stone house. It has proved to be a very challenging project, needing to be carefully managed at all stages. Andrew has shown himself to be knowledgeable about latest building practices, flexible with his advice and recommendations, and importantly, patient when things get a bit stressful for me. I don't think any other designer or architect would have stuck with such a demanding project. Based on the above, I would recommend Andrew to anyone needing a great designer with a human touch.

I just cannot fault the service we have received. Planning seems so be a bit of a minefield but with Jordan and Andrew handling things they made the process as stress free as possible, making changes to our drawings, answering so many phone calls from us and always taking the time to update us on the progress of the application, answering emails and just generally being an absolute pleasure to talk to! They also put together a fantastic supporting document with our planning application that I believe made a world of difference. We now have our planning permission for our 2 storey garage extension and as delighted as we are I am also a little disappointed that I won’t need to have a weekly catch up with Jordan over the phone.

Jordan was extremely helpful and worked diligently with me on our project to build an extension, install a staircase to the loft and change some windows into french doors. I couldn't recommend him any more highly.
