Jack completed our new bathroom to a high standard. The job involved stripping off old bathroom, plastering of ceiling, plumbing, electrics, tiling and installation of all the new fittings, all done according to our briefing. In our experience we found Jack to be friendly and professional. Initially he visited us twice to speak in person to go through our requirements/check measurements, he gave us detailed explanation of how the Niche could be incorporated and what materials will be needed/costs etc. Niche became the favourite feature which we thought was not possible to achieve. The freestanding Bathtub was slightly wider than the door opening to get in however, because we really liked the Bathtub and was just about the right size for the space, he went out his own way to take the door frame out and reinstalled it at no extra cost – just to keep us happy. We also wanted the initial stripped out fixtures not left on our drive, these were cleared on the same day. More importantly Jack maintained communication through the project, even after he started another job midway (which is understandable as he needed the cash flow) but this was not an issue for us as we had access to another bathroom and were waiting for the towel rail/further tiles. Other jobs Jack carried out was the removal of a partition which had the ground floor rear extension built around it by previous owner, and reinforcement of water damaged joists, we are very happy with the service Jack provided.

Jack is instantly likeable, he is friendly and professional and nothing is too much trouble. He did a fantastic job of refitting all our kitchen cupboards and appliances after extensive damage from a burst pipe. Jack and his guys also did the re-plastering, plumbing, electrics fitting new skirting boards , fixing a radiator and new tiling on the floor.
He always arrived on time, is reasonably priced and went out of his way to ensure that we were happy throughout the job, helping to source and buy extra items we needed.
Jack will be the first person I call when I next need any building work done and will happily be suggesting him to friends and neighbours.

Jack replaced my shower taps which involved removing and retiling. He then found a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink which had caused the tiles in the downstairs shower to blow. He repaired and retiled this as well. All done in an efficient and timely fashion. Would recommend

Not often I say this but if you're looking for a trustworthy, honest, reliable tradesperson look up JCleary construction. Jack and Dan super guys. Immediately likeable. Jack came round gave me a competitive quote. Held the space open for me to secure the job with a small deposit thats deducted from the bill. Gave advice on the items to get for the space. Straight upfront talking which was my cup of tea. Knew feomnthen Ibwas going tonhire him. Polite, professional and friendly. Kept to his word which not everyone does and that was a big plus for me. Delivered on all that I asked . Worked to the timeframe. Any extras they were happy to do. No job was too small. Communicated with me from start to finish. Came round and did any snags and even the things I didnt see. Responded to my queries without delay. Both Dan and Jack hard working. They mean what they say if you're happy then we're happy. Great motto to have. Will be booking Jack to do the upstairs bathroom. Really pleased with the quality of the work. I have no hesitation in recommending Jack and his team. Dont think the pictures ive added do the job justice but im definitely pleased and thats what matters. Big thumbs up

We had an appalling experience with Jack as our builder. What was supposed to be a “straightforward” 3-month project turned into an 18-month nightmare, forcing us to take legal action to seek compensation. Jack received full payment for the project, yet left us with an unfinished, subpar build and now costs far beyond what we initially budgeted to have it completed by someone else.

Jack is unqualified for the work he claims expertise in. For example, despite his repeated attempts to fix our roof, it continued to leak, leaving us to hire another builder at an additional £10,000 to redo it properly. It took that builder only a week to achieve what Jack failed to do over many months.

We're out thousands of pounds for work and materials that were neither delivered nor completed, and we’re now forced to pay another contractor to finish the job. Throughout this ordeal, Jack has refused any compromise or resolution, ignoring ethical standards and showing no regard for professional conduct. His handling of funds and inability to manage a large-scale project reflect his inexperience and lack of moral responsibility.

If you're looking for a reliable builder who will deliver quality work on time and within budget, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Jack took advantage of our trust and patience, and the results have been devastating. Avoid this builder at all costs.

Jack and his team is the true Jack of all trades. He helped us did an amazing job with our kitchen remodelling. He is very professional and skilful and managed to deal with all the unexpected situations from our old kitchen. Highly recommended!

Would certainly not recommend. This company was contracted to do a major refurbishment to my daughters house and, despite taking full payment for the work, has left the job unfinished and requiring significant repair. The stress and financial pressure which this has placed on my daughter and her family is awful to see and still ongoing.
