Wonderful. I can only highly recommend this beautifully renovated apartment. Clean, comfortable and very well presented. Everything you need in the kitchen too. Decent bedding, plenty of towels.
Close to waterfront and a few minutes drive to Co-op for groceries. Perfect!

We had the most lovely stay! I'll admit, it was a bit hard to find at first as there's no sign but once we looked more closely at Google maps, we could see it's one house in from the end. The beds were great, the shower was great - loved the headed towel rack. We were also able to do laundry. Thank you for letting us stay!

We stayed here for a few days, now that they're renting out apartments to holidaymakers. I have to say, it's a wonderful facility and they run it very well:

(a) The apartment was gorgeous, warm, spacious, with plenty of amenities;
(b) They thought of so many little things, including a really helpful guide for exploring the local area;
(c) They were very quick and friendly with responding to our queries and questions.

I was stationed at the Holy Loch from 1984-1986 as a crewman on a nuclear submarine. Loved, the area, the people, and the fish and chips! It was awesome to watch these dedicated young people restoring the James wood. If I ever get back there, for sure we will look into a holiday let!

Cal Hunter and Claire Segeren are an amazing young couple that bought the derelict Victorian Mansion Jameswood Villa by accident at auction.
As their followers have mentioned they have made lemonade out of lemons and are tackling the huge task one day at a time overcoming the most amazing obstacles that are thrown at them.

Support them by popping in to say hi or just hooting (honking) as you drive past their amazing construction site,

I came here doing my Workaway and helped 4 years ago as I could (with my bad English not understanding what a hammer was at the time- I'm French!) !!
