We had Jody and his team do a knock-through and extension at the rear of our house. We designed the project and planned for parts of it to be done by my husband, which Jody was able to accommodate really easily, working well with my husband and fitting in with our time scale. They were so easy to work with. The whole team were friendly and professional throughout. Jody's communication was great, he was always happy to answer questions and responded promptly.
My husband is a joiner and he was very impressed with all the carpentry.
It was very rainy (wettest February on record!) but that didn't stop them; the team worked really hard and still achieved everything on time and in budget. We were so impressed with the rate of progress and many of our neighbours kept saying how well they were getting on despite the conditions!
We are really happy with the result and now have a lovely large kitchen diner for our whole family to enjoy.

Jody and his team did a great job with renovating our place. Space was tight but they used their expertise to build us an extra shower room. Communication was excellent. Would highly recommend Jody and his team for any renovation projects! We hired Jody to knock down a wall in our new house, his quote was very reasonable and the wall was down within 2 weeks and finished in a day!! They cleared up all their mess and took the rubble with them. We later hired Jody to fit our kitchen which again was priced reasonably and Dom (his kitchen fitter) was an excellent carpenter who did a very neat and professional job - cost about £2,000 less than wrens had quoted for fitting! Jody has been very helpful throughout, he is reliable and easy to communicate with. Wouldn't hesitate to hire him and his team for future work!

JMT Wood built our rear single-storey extension earlier this year.

Shortly after the works started the pandemic hit and the national lockdown started, this put a lot of pressure on both us and JMT.

Once the delays were over JMT Wood worked very hard to make up the lost time. No doubt they were under a lot of pressure with other current and planned jobs that had also been pushed back by everything that was going on.

They were able to get hold of all the materials needed, despite national shortages, clearly they are well connected with local merchants.

The team were always very polite and easy to get on with, everyone worked hard.

There were a few problems a long the way, but they were put right. Some issues were inevitable with lone working, social distancing and the general stress of the pandemic - so in retrospect we cant really fault them for this.

We are very happy with how it all looks and how it has transformed our living space.

Jody and his team have done a fantastic job transforming our dark, north facing dining room into a light-filled, airy garden view room (we've installed 4m wide sliding doors and 2x velux roof windows, plus raised the previously low ceiling and relaid the patio outside). The quality of the workmanship and attention to detail has been excellent throughout. Jody's kept us informed of all developments, snags, ideas and such like. His team have been a pleasure to have around the house and it's clear that everyone wants to do a really good job. It's been refreshing to have a team on site who care about the finer details and obviously take great pride in their work. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Its incredibly refreshing to find a tradesman who is so responsive and helpful, came same day to quote for repairs to my chimney, I had the quote in my email in days and works completed swiftly after being accepted.
