My sister and I were tasked with renovating our mum’s home, it was last renovated in 1985 – it was a disability adaptation.
It was converting the garage into a shower room and utility to extend the kitchen, a new kitchen, full render of front and back of the house, guttering and converting the downstairs toilet back into a cupboard. During the works, mum threw in plastering and redecorating of front room/ dining room, hallway and stairs.

I, as the Project Manager, had to meet with the builders, but we needed someone we could trust as mum was going to be living in the building works and we both live 2+ hours away. I met several builders, some good and some “car salesman like”. Then I met Jon and within 10 minutes I knew he was the one for us. He was so honest and knowledgeable and talked to me like I had sense, even when I didn’t know what I was talking about! No questions were too silly, and he gave us some great ideas the others hadn’t. The quote came quickly, highly detailed with scope of works and timeline. He met all of us to go through the quote to ensure we were all on the same page. The work started quickly, and he dealt with building control/architect, and he runs a tight ship and expected the best standards and has a fabulous team who believe in doing their best. My job as Project Manager was made so easy because Jon was on our team.

Throughout the interiors period, my sister was fully supported by the team, they just went above and beyond, nothing was a problem, nothing they couldn’t solve or deal with. It was a lot easier process than we anticipated due to Jon and the team.

They truly thought of mum’s future needs and incorporated things we had not even thought of. Mum is super happy with the works that has been done, her smile says it all and we as daughters will be always eternally grateful for Jon and the team.
Special mention to Roy and of course Olly who were just gems throughout.

JTC converted the unused bottom floor of the house (previously 3 rooms) into an open plan living space and bathroom.
